I'm diving straight into my review. My primary target was the Dupudu Pothu Biryani, an item notoriously difficult to get. It's almost always unavailable, requiring a significant amount of luck. After numerous attempts, I finally managed to try it. DUPUDU POTHU BIRYANI EXPERIENCE: * Availability: Extremely inconsistent and frustrating. * Value: Overrated and not worth the wait. * Quantity: Severely lacking. For 500 rupees, the portion of mutton served was felt like it should not cost more than 200 rupees. * Taste: The Chitti Muthyalu rice was a highlight. It was so flavorful with a distinct ghee taste and aroma of spices, especially I love those tiny red onions in this biryani setting it apart from typical biryani rice. REGULAR MUTTON BIRYANI EXPERIENCE: * Quantity: Just as disappointing as the Dupudu Pothu Biryani. * Mutton Quality: A major letdown. 12 tiny pieces of mutton were served, with 7 being bones without any meat on them. The remaining 5 pieces consisted of 3 decent meaty pieces and 2 undesirable parts like kidney. * Taste: Tastes good just like DUPUDU POTHU BIRYANI OVERALL RATING: * Taste: 3/5 * Quantity: 2/5 (Specifically referring to the mutton pieces they have served) * Quality: 2.5/5 * Ambience: 2/5 * Service: 3/5 CONCLUSION: As a food vlogger, I cannot recommend this restaurant in its current state. The quantity of mutton provided for the price is unacceptable. Until they address this issue and stop overcharging customers, I will stay away from this restaurant.

I recently had a disappointing experience at Vemparaju Gari Ruchulu. The place seemed ordinary and didn't have anything special to make the dining experience better. Although the food was served on banana leaves, which is unique, it didn't make up for the poor quality of the visit. I ordered the famous dupudu pothu biryani, but a lot of it was just bones, making it not worth the price. The biryani was made with chittimutyalu rice, which was moderately spicy, and the portion was enough for one person. The biryani cost Rs. 500, but for that price, there are many better options at other restaurants.

Here's my honest and detailed review after visiting this restaurant 3-4 times and trying different dishes. Latest Experience: Today, I ordered a takeaway of their so-called special "Dupudu Pothu Biryani." I've been wanting to try this dish for two months, and I finally got it today. Unfortunately, it turned out to be highly overrated. Taste-wise, it was far from impressive, and price-wise, it's the most overpriced biryani I've ever had. At 500, it felt completely unworthy of the cost. To make matters worse, they didn't even provide enough raita to go with it. Previous Visits: During my earlier visits, I tried the fry piece chicken biryani and chicken biryani, which was decent but still didn't justify its price. While the restaurant might take pride in maintaining some food etiquettes, the high prices, subpar taste, and inconsistent servings only work to undermine those efforts.

I ordered vemparaju prawn pulao and chicken dum biryani. Prawn pulao is awesome and finger licking. It is spicy and delicious which is upto mark. And now come to chicken dum, it is ok not as I expected flavours are ok ok not upto mark. They gave some chutney like gravy which is to good for us. Quantity wise one biryani or pulao is good for 2 hungry people. Ambiance is not good for dine in. Not good for families to dine in. Overall food is good and satisfactory. I recommend this for family and friends.

Most amazing restaurant I have visited. I am from hyderabad and when I had the food here I felt home. Amazing service and also a friendly approach. Wild come here when ever in Eluru.

The quality of the food with regard to prices are not upto the mark. The food is below average. The rice used in the biriyani is very low quality. It tastes like masala rice. Nothing better than that. I would suggest other places than this restaurant.
