Foodie train restaurant

The food quality and quantity were satisfactory. However, the hotel felt dull and poorly maintained during weekdays. It can be visited for children's entertainment, but otherwise, there are better options available.

Though the service was exceptional, the food left much to be desired. The waitstaff were attentive, friendly, and prompt, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. However, the quality of the dishes fell short of expectations. I hope they can improve the culinary aspect of their offerings to match the level of service they provide. Keeping aside the taste of the food, kids will definitely enjoy the experience of dining in. PS. Simple ambience, looked like kids and families enjoying the theme... Biryani is not that great but kaaju tomato curry is nice. Quantity is less. Service is average. Felt Expensive for the experiences.

First visit will be excited. Nice idea to attract people but need to be improve in lot areas. First thing is waiting its taking very long time than usual, if it really taking time, better let them know. Ordered crispy corn and paneer biryani both are disappointing not having good taste. Nice ambience. Good concept. Everyone would definitely love the TRAIN concept. Food us carried by 3 trains to all tables with station names on each table. Must visit place in Kakinda. Starters are good. Didn't taste main course.

Restaurant has good ambience and pleasant atmosphere. Interior looks good. But coming to the food, taste is not up to the mark. And the prices of items are little high. Even for the higher prices, less quantity is served. Some items on the menu are not available. There's a lot to improve.

Visited this restaurant on sept 4th. We are in the restaurant for almost more than 3hrs. Tried out different items here and will post the review of items below. Pros: The concept of train bringing the food to your table is interesting. Although this concept is available in many cities, it is first of its kind in kakinada. KIDS MAY love this. The ambience and the temperature they maintain inside the Restaurant is quite good. The quality of the food is better compared to other restaurants in kakinada. Cons: The taste of the food is really disappointing. We ordered some starters of which chicken pieces are hard to bite. Also the added masala which touch your tongue on a high is really missing. You really can't feel a unique taste of any flavor in the starter. Spicy baby corn was bit better, but still dhaba guys will make it more better. Plating was also not much good. Coming to main course : We ordered butter naan,masala kulcha, and folded naan with chicken patiala curry. But on the table we received only butter naan and masala kulcha. When we asked for folded naan, they said it will be coming in few mins. After waiting for 15mins, and I was literally waiting for folded naan to come with the curry being cold in my plate. The captain came and said, sorry sir all roti items were closed. I was like what should I do with existing curry ? Later we ordered for chicken tandoori biryani and it was like white basmati rice server with half cooked tandoori. Interestingly the tandoori pieces for soft enough which was supposed not to be. Strange thing is they brought this item on hand rather than serving on train . Hygiene wise, I was really impressed at the starting, but im really disappointed when I see a guy who was operating the train just blewing air with his mouth on the tandoori roti. Imagine what if he has covid? Irrespective of Covid, a restaurant of that level should maintain these basic things in terms of Hygiene. Price of the items are bit over priced compared to quantity they are providing, but if they have a good taste that should justify the price. Delivery time of food is really slow, but I won't make it as a complain because the restaurant is newly opened and it is quite expected when they are opened on a over crowding. We literally went at 7.30 Pm and came out at 10.45pm. Ambience : 8/10 Quality: 7/10 Plating : 7/10 Taste : 4/10 Hygiene: 2/10(After seeing that incident) Quantity: 6/10 Pricing:6/10 Concept : 8/10 Hospitality:6/10 Overall Rating: 5/10 (One time visit for its unique experience)
