Authentic Hyderabadi biryani in the town. Chicken and mutton dum are really delicious. Masala and chicken and rice are of higher standards. Highly preferable and must try!!

Hello all, I have tasted chicken dum biryani at mehfil kakinada. The flavour is exactly like Hyderabad dum biryani 95% no doubt on it. It is equal to Alfa in vizag and secunderabad. But only 5% lagging is the chilli powder and ghee. Chilli must be reduced and ghee should be increased as per my view. If they make it then, no need to worry about Hyderabad biryani in kakinada. We can blindly have it there. I hope they will consider my review seriously.

I should say that one feels the taste and texture very close to old city hyderabadi style dum biryani. Tastes good but Little spicey, so ask for medium or less spice so they pack you rice accordingly (dont worry, dum rice only). Only take away, quantity is LESS and not consistent, takeaway area is less hygienic. Tried both chicken n mutton dum here, family pack at 380rs is not suggested, instead go for 2 half at 150rs each.

Worst mutton biryani ever we're tasted and afternoon food is selling troughtout the evening. Too much oily and full of masala half of the food is waste.

The worst mutton biryani we have tasted right now which is oily almost 75% quantity is wasted costs Rs 450/-, not worth for the money they have taken.
