Rooms have paint peeling off for water seepage, bathrooms had tap filters clogged and had to wait half hour for bathing, didn't expect a 3 star hotel for 3500/- to have an experience like that

Worst function hall in kavali. Completely closed and they are not even switching on the AC for an AC function hall and lift service is pathetic.

Very average food. Dingy interiors. Pricey for what they offer.

It is in a good location in Kavali town. Top floor of Reliance trends showroom.

People don't have any coordination in the hotel. On the 2nd night of my stay I was called over the room phone and was asked to pay for the day. I was going to stay for 5-6 days. I didn't pay any advance, so I said I will come after dinner and forgot and went to sleep. In the morning I went to pay for two days and i was asked how many days I would stay. I told him I would stay another 4-5 days. He said I can pay during checkout. I left it there. And now after 3 days, suddenly at 11:00PM I was called to the reception and was told that the owners are scolding the staff because I didn't pay a single rupee since my stay began. I have been paying for the food immediately, they could have asked me anytime. They have my number. No. They had to wake me up at 11:00PM, and tell me that I have not been paying room rent since my stay began.

We took this hotel for the stay in Kavali for 3 days First Impressions : The hotel is present in the 3rd floor to 5th floor levels, the approach to the hotel is via Lift or staircase. The ground floor is a shop called Trends which is a clothing store, first floor is a meeting/marriage hall. So to get to this hotel we have to go via lift which is very slow and there are two lifts among which one only will work which is also a normal to slow speed lift and switches are all damaged. They bring all the vegetables and meat products with the same lift since the restaurant is in the 5th top floor and 3rd and 4th floor are rooms hence there will be a very bad stinking smell always in the lift. Secondly while entering the reception area the ambience seemed to change a bit it was decent. Prices of the room is from around 2,500 to around 4,000rs . We chose the basic room, inside the room the AC was small size hence took time to Cool , the temperature should always he kept at 20 or 22 then only it will cool the room. The heater did not work at all, it was some unknown brand one , the light will lit up in the indicator of the heater but there was no Hot water whatsoever. The room was decent and the shelves are ok. The bathroom mirror and washbasin and tiles were good, but without hot water it was bad experience. Parking of the vehicle is outside the premises near to the road only. Almost 5 cars can be parked in parallel , but since there is a shop outside and during function times there wil be not parking at all since the two wheelers will be parked randomly in the front of the premises, hence parking will be a issue during day time and also if the rooms are full then the outside space will be full , you have to park your car little far away. Restaurant food served for dabha style , nothing big we can expect, cost was high as a fine dining restaurant, but the taste was ok. My personal downfall for this hotel is the buffet food , they simply call it Breakfast but they serve only 2 or 3 items : one idly and 2 dishes like sambar or chutney, and then one upma I suppose. Then they have a bread toast machine and bread , and corn flakes , milk . That's it. Nothing like varieties like poori or pongal or anything proper south Indian expect for the idly , it's better that they just don't serve anything for name sake in the morning. Taste is very average . Overall my personal opinion is Average. I personally have known kavali since my childhood and I would say this city is developing in a rapid pace now but it is still lacking in many aspects like this even not having good hotels , This hotel I would say is good as just a lodge with a dhaba style kitchen. They are trying to be a hotel but definitely someone with lack of hotel management only started this hotel.
