Adyar Ananda Bhavan - A2B

I ordered food from this place from train in Swiggy app when I am going to Hyderabad via Nellore. Paneer fried rice is very impressive and Chapathi kurma is very good.. however the price is very high for the given quantity.

Adyar Anand Bhavan (A2B) is a well-known chain of vegetarian restaurants, and based on previous experiences at their Delhi and Tirupati branches, I had certain expectations. However, the Nellore branch did not quite match the standard set by other outlets. Upon visiting, we specifically asked for Andhra meals. The staff, instead of offering an authentic Andhra-style meal, recommended their South Indian meals, claiming it to be the same. However, apart from podi and ghee, there was nothing particularly Andhra about it. The rest of the items were more in line with Tamil-style cuisine. Unfortunately, even in that aspect, the taste was underwhelming. It lacked the authentic flavors one would expect from either Andhra or Tamil Nadu cuisine, leaving it somewhere in between without a distinct identity. One redeeming factor was the rasam, which was well-prepared and flavorful. Apart from that, the meal did not leave much of an impression. The overall dining experience felt mediocre, both in terms of food quality and authenticity. Additionally, a small but notable point is that most restaurants provide mouth fresheners at the end of a meal, but this outlet did not. While it may seem minor, it adds to the overall experience, and its absence was noticeable. In summary, this A2B branch does not live up to the reputation of the brand. If you are looking for authentic Andhra meals, this is not the place. Even for Tamil-style food, it does not quite hit the mark. A rather average experience overall.

The food was good, I am repeatedly visiting Chennai, Tirupati & Nellore. In the Nellore branch please take care of the service. Thanks.

Pros: Location wise it's easily accessible. Enough of parking space It's fully vegetarian. Rates are a bit economical. Tatse is good. Cons: Employees most likely are from Tamilnadu and they speak Tamil only which is not a good sign being in Nellore, a Telugu speaking state. I would suggest employing local Telugu people. You can't enforce Tamil everywhere you set up your shop.

They are feeling server's are giving free food for orphans or untouchables. I felt so sad I Nellore A2B. The picture I posted that guy treated me as I eating as a charity. Don't visit such places. Road side food ammas will treat u good.

Food was good. We like the shira there. They have served fried rice with the salad. My suggestion is they need to serve fried rice with Schezwan chatni. Rest the food and amibance was good

Food tastes as standard by A2B. Good and fast service. Good place for family and friends. Nice looking atmosphere. Good place for peaceful food. Parking space not available at all times. Worst toilet facilities. Need to improve.

Suffocating and sweating inside the restaurant.. No proper AIR-CONDITIONED.. If u look the AC vents.. Dirty and blocked.. Can even eat with this sweaty environment.. No proper maintenance.. Other bad experiences too at Nellore A2B
