Idli is a must try from this place. We ordered idli, masala dosa, Upma pesarattu. Food is good. Chutneys and podi served with tiffins are good. Service is fast. Dine in space is limited. Coffee is ok. Overall a must visit place.
For idly it's 40rs but taste like 10rs idly no difference that too chutney is a big flop all others are giving coconut and groundnut chutney but they are giving coconut and roasted channa (chanaga papu) although taste was not upto the mark. Very disappoint
Hi guys I am from BANGALORE and I visited this hotel on 20/12/24. 1) IDLI,Butter, Ghee, Pudi.40 rs..for 2 IDLI. 2) Pongal..(4/5)..50rs.. 3) wheat Upma..(4/5)..50rs.. NOTE: A) Guys if you want 75% of BANGALORE like taste then this is the place to visit.. B) But Really Costly compared to Bengaluru Taste.. C) only CHATNY free... D)So u can try it once if you are in Vijayawada.. E) Parking for 4 Wheeler /2 Wheeler is available. MUST TRY PONGAL...
They only way to keep up the BRAND value is " Maintain the Taste "... Recently visited this place when I visited Vijayawada.. IDLY taste was too good.. just MELTING .. PONGAL has that temple Prasad TASTE in it ... wheat UPMA was also good ... COFFE outside the hotel was also very good ..
Disappointed ...upma tasted like something else..and idli+chutney+pudi didnt match.. maybe people like it there but me from nlr didnt felt the hype...or maybe it lost its magic from the past where it used to be everyone's favourite
Whenever if it's breakfast/tiffins , for sure I would recommend babai hotel!! Food here is amazing and also podi karam dosa, upma pesara(only available at limited time in a day) dosa is a must try!!
True Pedigree. The very name has been associated with delicious and quality food. Who is who of the whole country ratify the same. It is a place that I love whenever I wish to have breakfast or snacks. Idlee and pongal are my favourites here. During peak time i. e. around 9am the place is so packed that it robs one of the experience of savouring the delicacies. Note that the restaurant has changed timings. It no longer open on the evenings- closes at about 12.30 pm daily.
To be frank, this is my second visit to this hotel, the hotel is running on brand only, on 20/04/25 I took idly, onion dosa and pongal.... Idly ok but coconut chutney is bad dosa is ok and pongal was not up to the mark of brand. There is no big difference in taste similar to many....
