Aminia Restaurant - Guwahati

First of all i want to let you know that i am not a biryani eating guy. But first time i loved the biryani specially Lucknowi special chicken biryani. It was spicy and not direct it was fried but i loved the taste . After trying lots of places i can say that i loved the special Lucknowi chicken biryani . You can visit and try biryani here highly recommended.

Well Aminia has been my go to place whenever i seek some biriyani or kebabs. They never disappoint. This time i tried their lassi too which was on point. Great food...

I have had food in Aminia before. This was a zomato order and even then they served it well. Definitely a high recommendation for biriyani lovers.

I am overall quite happy during my time in Aminia, we ordered both mutton and chicken biryani and also tandoori chicken, with some jaljeera drink, biryani was quite tasty, but tandoori was a little bit more fried. The ambience was really good, also the restroom section is quite clean.

With mixed feelings a review. This was my first experience with Aminia Guwahati. Had tried a couple of times in Kolkata. So we ordered Reshmi Chicken Kebab, Lucknow mutton biryani and bhetki fish curry with egg biryani. Why I say mixed feelings ,the Reshmi Chicken Kebab was out of this world. Simply awesome taste. While the Lucknow mutton biryani, was pathetic with curry leaves infused in it. The mutton was fresh but the spices used in the biryani were over the top. Shahi elaichi was used in bulk. Worst biryani experience. I would give it a star for the kebab. Behaviour wise, when asked for feedback and I gave my honest opinion, the server was like, Lucknow biryani enekuwa spicy hoi. I told him, lucknow doesn't have it's own biryani, it's either Awadhi which is on a sweeter side or Hyderabadi Biryani with aromatic spices and maximum usage of barista onion rings. He didn't seem to agree. Nevertheless valentine's lunch was ok.

Aminia is a good restaurant for dinner, lunch, test of food is very good, staff behaviour is good , price is not too much, it is as like other restaurants, you May go once here, it is a reputed restaurant where celebraty take lunch, very good atmosphere, you may like it.

It was my first visit, and I was instantly captivated by the rich flavors of their Mutton Biryani tender meat perfectly paired with aromatic, spiced rice. I also savored their Chicken Tikka, which was succulent, smoky, and irresistibly delicious. The experience was a delightful culinary journey that left me craving more.

One of the worst Biryani I ever had, I don't know what others are eating. Too salty, the meat is too dry, the place is extremely congested and the price is too high. Azad was such a beautiful restaurant, exquisite, delicious and everything. Even street side biryani is better than aminia. I really miss azad, please don't waste your sunday on this place. And also they seated us near the plate depository, what a place, seriously no etiquette.
