Customer Reviews & Testimonials
Came here for breakfast whilst staying at the Andaz. Breakfast is an all you can eat, ordering from their A La Carte menu. A selection of pastries is available from from their bakery and freshly made juices from the juice bar. Overall an impressive breakfast with a wide variety of choices. I recommend the Andaz prawn omelette and french toast.
Breakfast at Andaz's Village Square. We were absolutely impressed with the breakfast menu (ala carte) and service at this place. During our stay there (3 nights), we sampled some of the menu and cherished the experience we had there. Here are our takes and ratings on the menu item that we picked: - Bibim bun. This is brilliant. The egg was cooked perfectly medium rare and the bun was soft and chewy blended with bibim bap sauce. 5.0 stars - cheese and cured meat platter. All are good quality and fresh. 5.0 stars - Pastries were all good. They keep rotating the selection on daily basis. Banana pie, mixed nuts croissant, cardamon croissant 4.8 stars - nasi gurih 4.5 stars - AZB Muffin 4.9 stars - Steamed dumplings 4.7 stars - crepe fromage 4.5 stars - Andaz toast 4.7 stars - warned banana bread 4.8 stars - spicy mango salad, unless you really crave for sour mango taste, dont order this 4.0 stars. - Surabi 4.5 stars - tropical smoothies: halle berry and sun-kissed dates 4.9 stars The service is absolutely spotless. Our servers keep approaching us whether we wanted to order more and in some cases suggested items which are their specialties. They also had courtesy to consistently check whether the guests have any allergy for certain food. The atmosphere at village square is very cool and gorgeous. We were there during the peak of holiday season (especially for domestic travelers). Unlike other 5 stars hotels, we did not find any queue or hotel guests jostling at breakfast buffet. Everything was well organized and tidy. The chief of the village (General manager) was frequently spotted in the restaurant and indeed involved in serving food to the guests' tables. All in all, I would rate 4.9/ 5.0 stars to Breakfast at Village square. This is one of the best in Indonesia! If you fancy great breakfast and excellent service, this is the place!
Had dinner at the village while staying here, amazing culinary experience. Very well presented and a nice take on Balinese and Mediterranean cuisine. 'Eka' helped us with our food choices and it didn't disappoint. Highly recommend if you are staying in Sanur.
During my recent trip to Bali, I had the pleasure of dining at Wok Wok, a charming restaurant set in a prestigious-looking resort by the beach, surrounded by lush plants. The setting was stunning, creating a relaxing and picturesque ambiance that perfectly complemented the tropical vibes of Bali. The Indonesian food at Wok Wok was impeccable. We ordered the nasi goreng rice and sweet pork, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The nasi goreng was flavorful and well-prepared, with a perfect balance of spices. The sweet pork skewers were tender, juicy, and beautifully glazed, offering a delightful combination of sweet and savory flavors. The presentation of the food was also noteworthy, adding to the overall dining experience. The staff at Wok Wok were friendly and attentive, ensuring that our meal was enjoyable from start to finish. However, I haven't been impressed with the wine available in any restaurant I visited in Bali, including Wok Wok. While the food was outstanding, the wine selection left much to be desired. In summary, Wok Wok offers an exceptional dining experience with its beautiful beachside setting, lush surroundings, and outstanding Indonesian cuisine. It's a must-visit for anyone in Bali looking to enjoy a memorable meal in a serene and scenic environment.
We are very impressed by the service and our food. We stayed at this hotel for 4 days and ate most of our meals here. All the servers are very professional and great service. The one stands out is Yuni. She's very smart, able to remember us, including our room numbers and food preference and allergies. She's very attentive, polite and sincere. We are very happy with her service and will definitely recommend this hotel/restaurant to our friends.
Breakfast review: presentation is good, however many dishes only look good and the taste may not be. Dish to try: French toast, Sate Ayam, Kway Teo Goreng, Bubur Suro. Avoid pancake (both soufle and indo style), banana cake, onsen egg (they put avocado into this and it's nothing onsen), cold soba noodle (the only thing that resemble soba here is the noodle)
We visited Andaz Bali just for breakfast, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was serene and beautifully designed, making it the perfect setting for a relaxed morning meal. The food selection was excellent, fresh fruit, local Balinese dishes, pastries, and great coffee. Everything was high quality and thoughtfully prepared. What truly stood out, though, was the service, especially from Pedri. From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly warm, attentive, and professional. Even though we weren't hotel guests, Pedri made us feel genuinely welcome and well cared for. His friendly demeanor and attention to detail really elevated the whole experience. Thank you, Pedri, for making our breakfast at Andaz Bali such a memorable one.
I told the waitress that my Nasi Goreng Bebek was one of the most phenomenal dishes I have ever eaten in Bali. I dropped in for a cold drink and left stumbling out the door overladen with fantastic food. Meringue with mango and icecream finished things off. Truly incredible food experience.
