Kaukau Restaurant Ubud

The bebek goreng (crispy fried duck) is phenomenal. I had this for lunch when I first arrived to Ubud, couldn't stop thinking about it, so I ordered the same dish again the next day for dinner. And somehow the duck was even more amazing the second time round. Crispy, perfectly juicy, freshly fried. Ask for the in-house sambal chili and keropok to pair with it. I'm very particular about food and had already bookmarked other restaurants to visit in Ubud, but this dish alone was so good that I keep coming back. Kudos to the chef and friendly staff.

The breakfast / brunch is super high quality and SO GOOD! The chia pudding was my favorite and the scrambled eggs were on point. I highly recommend this place.

Absolute amazing experience at the Arkamara. Staff welcomed us with open arms, they were very friendly and answered any questions we had. Every time we saw them they gave us a warm welcome and asked us if we needed anything. It was my girlfriend's birthday and they decorated our bed with a "happy birthday" message. Best service I have had at a hotel ever. We were treated like kings and queens. I could write an entire essay of how staff went above and beyond for us. Food was amazing, the included breakfast was very filling and had lots of options to choose from. The drinks were very tasty as well. I recommend trying the floating breakfast one day. The events each day at the restaurants on the resort had a great variety of Balinese culture and music. The pool was very warm and had a great view of the jungle. We received a massage at the spa onsite and it was well worth it. The staff made us feel very relaxed and "at home" The resort was very clean, beds were so comfy and the room service was incredible. If you're in Ubud I highly recommend staying at the Arkamara. My girlfriend and I do not have one complaint. If your looking for a quiet relaxing resort with friendly staff, great views, beautiful rooms with comfy beds, great food and great service the Arkamara is the place for you.

Kaukau Ubud is hands down one of the best restaurants in Ubud! The food was incredible--every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is super cozy and relaxing, perfect for a laid-back meal. The staff were really friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. If you're in Ubud, this place is a must-visit!

The place is beautiful, blending harmoniously with nature. This is something I will always love--when humans manage to live in harmony with nature. This hotel/restaurant is a perfect example of that, and on top of everything, the service and food are excellent! Highly recommended

Partner and I stayed at a nearby villa outside of the resort, yet all the staff at Kau Kau were very welcoming of us. We ate dinner one night and were very impressed with the atmosphere. Outdoor, lush green setting with a water fountain and soothing live music to complement our meal. The food was very flavourful and felt fancy yet affordably priced. We returned here for breakfast on multiple occasions, enjoying avocado bagels, smoothie bowls, fresh juice and iced lates. The friendly waiters were very accomodating of our dietary requirements, and we walked away happy and full each time.

I recently spent five nights at the Akarmara Dijwu Resort in Ubud, where the renowned Kaukau restaurant is located. The staff at Kaukau were exceptionally friendly, polite, and accommodating, consistently delivering outstanding service. The food was superb, with breakfast offering a curated selection of high-quality dishes from an a la carte menu. Both lunch and dinner maintained the same exceptional standard. My stay at the resort was thoroughly enjoyable, and the dining experience at Kaukau truly elevated the entire visit.
