Tropical Bali Restaurant

Very nice place to have dinner. You can sit on the comfy sofas by the front and people watch. The food was good, especially the berry banana brioche dessert. Would definitely recommend that one. The waitress Suka was very friendly and attentive. Good prices as well for dinner, dessert, and drinks.

We were craving some seafood and while this place did not disappoint in terms of food quality and taste, the portions were too small for us. Since it's on the pricier side, we ended up having to do a second dinner elsewhere which made us feel slightly disappointed in our experience at Tropical. So if you're looking to go here for a full meal, be prepared to shell out more and order multiple dishes per person. We ordered the seafood platter (incredibly delicious - ask for the butter garlic dip to go with it). The platter for 1 is not sufficient for 1 adult and I'd recommend getting the platter for 2 for one person. We also got the tuna steak and the butter garlic shrimp, both of which met our expectations.

The service is excellent. Food is very nice. We have been to many restaurants and not had staff so lovely as here, they just want you to have a good time. Ayu looked after us all evening and Gopal looked after the important stuff of drinks :-)

We enjoyed Tropical overall, but it didn't meet expectations when it came to other reviews we read. My wife loved the seafood platter. The kids' meal for my son was excellent, too. I did not enjoy my dinner, unfortunately. I do think it was a bit too pricey for quality.

Great food, close to the Water Temple, the staff was very polite and profesional, the food did come faster than we expect even if the restaurant was full. The food was very nice and made with fresh ingredients. Did love the Ice Lychee Tea. You can park the scooter ( if you are traveling with one ) on the side, is a small street next to the restaurant.

What a wonderful find in the heart of Ubud. Food exceptional, staff better than exceptional. Sit back enjoy food and service by a fantastic team. Watch the craziness wander by while eating and drinking up a storm. We actually came twice which is not our norm as we like to try something different each night. Beautiful fresh air to keep you cool and incredibly tasty food. I had the vegan burrito and the detox drink. Incredibly tasty! My partner had the club sandwich and it was also great! Highly recommend :)

Best pizza EVER!!!!! The base is incredible and the toppings just as beautiful we have eaten twice here already and only been in ubud for 3days. Love this place!
