Such an incredible and unique experience of delicious Indonesian food in stunning surroundings. Everything was well thought through, staff were very attentive and the view and ambience were magnificent. Definitely priced higher than other places but well worth it for the quality of food and experience. We had such a lovely lunch and can't wait to come back!
Divine, absolutely divine. This is the most beautiful restaurant with lovely kitchen team who are incredibly knowledgeable about this truly traditional (delicious) Balinese cuisine. And the view, it's like a painting. Every time we looked up we couldn't believe our eyes. Not just stunning, visually, also unbelievable taste. Also, I've got a severe peanut allergy and they were so careful to accommodate me, it was so special to finally have a chance to eat Indonesian food <3
We had a great time - lovely staff tasty food - I'd suggest to share as portions are massive. Lovely twists on local flavor profiles pretty views - a bit away from the bustle ( and that made us extra happy )
Best day in Bali!! We did the cooking class and lunch with Chef Bu Ayu. Visited the local provincial markets and had a fascinating insight into the food culture and bountiful produce with Bu Ayu explanations in perfect English. Our son really engaged and enjoyed the experience. Mind you, stuffing yourself with exotic fruits is probably what most teenagers want!! Back at Bali Asli, we pounded spices, wrapped banana leaves, and made soo much food! It was epic!! A fun and educational day out, well away from the rat race! Loved it!!
If I could give this experience 10 stars I would. Our cooking class that we did with Penny was our favorite experience in Bali. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, and employees were the very best. Thank you Penny, we will be recommending you to everyone we know traveling to Bali!
The freshness of the food is unparalleled. I highly recommend. The drive to the restaurant was beautiful, and the gift of the breathtaking view is icing on the cake.
