Sleeping Gajah Kitchen & Lounge

A beautiful restaurant with views overlooking the valley and river below. The staff were friendly and attentive. We ate a meal here for Christmas lunch and also returned for happy hour cocktails. The food was good quality but very highly priced for the standard. Our most expensive meal in Sidemen. The view made the experience most memorable.

So easy to review, just five star everything. The food is just first rate with special mention to the rendang, which to say is the best I've had isn't even a big call. The drinks are delicious, creative and generous. The atmosphere and setting effortlessly make you feel calm and relaxed. The staff are so friendly. Such a beautiful spot.

Highly recommend this restaurant! Perfect atmosphere with stunning views, and the food was so fresh and delicious. Santa and Julia provided excellent service with great recommendations. I will definitely be coming back here!

Wow. Food is excellent. Prices may seem more expensive compared to local restaurants but it is worthy. The food and the view are magnificent. If you have the chance to go there don't hesitate to stop by.

I came here for lunch with my parents last month and we had a lovely time. We shared some bits between us and they were all delicious. We had a great waiter (I believe his name was Witra) who gave us dessert and tea on the house with the sweetest message! Besides the amazing food and staff, the surrounding scenery and view were just the cherry on top! Will definitely come back :) thank you so much

I just came here with a zero expectation and It's 100 out of 10 experience!! I'm lactose intolerant and gluten intolerant and The staff was super nice here, they really gave their best to accomodate our need. Even when the food takes too long since they have to redo the dough for lactose intolerant, they gave us complementary dessert to make up for it! Seriously, if they keep this kind of service, i would definitely come back here again and again. Thank you sleeping gajah!!

Food was great! Little bit more of the pricey side compared to others restaurants in the area but was top notch. Service was great, very friendly staff. Great view, we went for dinner & saw lots of fire works around NY time.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Sleeping Gajah. The food was great and our server Juli Antara was brilliant and couldn't have done more for us. If we're ever back in Sideman we'll be back and hope to see Juli Antara!
