We hosted my brother's wedding on 10th & 11th May at this hotel, and the experience was beyond expectations. The food was absolutely amazing, and guests couldn't stop talking about it! Absolutely ruined my parents' 25th anniversary. We hosted a very special event on May 3 at Hotel Makhan Vihar, and it turned out to be a complete disaster, all thanks to the unprofessional behavior of the staff -- especially Santanu Ghosh and Salim. The event that was supposed to be memorable for my family became a nightmare. The staff was rude, careless, and completely disorganized. They showed zero courtesy or responsibility, and clearly had no idea how to handle a formal occasion. Despite several reminders and clear instructions given in advance, they messed up basic arrangements and didn't even care to fix things when confronted. Guests were visibly disappointed, and we were left embarrassed on a day that was meant to be special. I would strongly advise anyone planning a celebration to stay far away from this place. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind -- look elsewhere.
