Devotees can climb the stairs or they can use Rope Cable. The price of rope cable cart is 50/- per person for one way and 100/- for two way. Usually there are 10-20 minutes of waiting time for cable cart but there are plenty of space and sitting area in waiting hall with canteen option in ground floor.

If you have to walk up, it would be better to go in the morning. New lifts have also been installed, you will reach the top in 5 minutes. Even after going by lift, you will have to cross 100 stairs.

Dongargarh is a gem, especially for those visiting Maa Bamleshwari Temple. The temple is located on a beautiful hilltop, and the architecture is stunning. The views from Badi Maa Bamleshwari are absolutely breathtaking. Udankhatola (the ropeway) adds to the adventure, making it easier to reach the temple. Plus, it's very convenient as the railway station is just 1 kilometer away. I had an amazing experience here and highly recommend visiting during the holidays to explore and receive blessings without the rush!

Visited temple at 6.30 today. Cable car operating from 8am to 7 pm. 30 min walk to temple came back by cable car. Car was shaky at times but was good experience.
