This is a much needed resting and refreshments point while the tourists undertake their climb on foot to visit the temple of Goddess Maa Bamleshwari located on the hilltop. There are almost eleven hundred steps to climb, which may be tiring and a pilgrim needs to stop and recharge himself in between. For this purpose The Bamleshwari Mandir Trust Samiti has made many arrangements of drinks and food parlour etc. The Upper Restaurant is also one of them and located well up on the steps leading to the temple. Local foods, snacks, packaged foods, cold drinks and ice-creams etc are available here. The menu of the food and drinks items are displayed on boards on the wall of the restaurant. The place is clean, spacious and comfortable. The staffs are also very friendly and helpful.
