There is a very beautiful Buddha temple, you feel very peaceful as soon as you come here and you can see the view of the whole city from the mountain, from here you can also see the temple of Bamleshwari Mata, which is very beautiful. Buddha

Me and my husband came to this place on a working day and that's why we could hardly find 3 to 4 people roaming around. As a consequence we couldn't find a taxi waiting here to take us back to the Railway Station. I would suggest all the visitors coming here to either come by your own vehicle or else keep the taxi waiting !! Nonetheless this place is really pretty. It's very calm and you will find greenery everywhere. Oh yes.. one more thing !! As there are lots of stairs here and no other alternative to go up the hills so those who can't climb stairs will definitely be disappointed.

Pragya giri is situated in Dongargarh in the Rajnandgaon district, on a hilltop of 1,000 feet. There is a Buddh vihara with a large Buddha statue facing east. There are 225 steps leading up the mountain. Construction of Pragyagiri was done in 1998. On the top of the hill there is a garden and descriptions on the rock. You can see this place's beauty at evening time when sky is full of orange colour. The view of city from top of hill is too lovely. If you visit Dongargarh must go pragya giri. Peaceful place.
