Banter Delhi

Banter House was once a favorite -- full of charm and energy. Unfortunately, my recent visit after two years was not that great . We ( seven) were the only ones there at lunchtime on a Friday, which made the place feel deserted and hinted at possible cost-cutting measures. First, we were greeted by flies on the table. After changing tables, we were met with a non-functional AC in that section, making the dining experience uncomfortable. On the brighter side, the food was good and the service was polite -- the only saving graces of the visit. Overall, between the lack of crowd, excessive flies and poor cooling, it fell short of expectations.

The vibe and ambience are mood setter. The veg pizza was good with a thin crust although the Rosa Pasta was okish. The drinks Three Two Tango and Peach Ice tea were good.

Cosy cafe by day and goofy club vibes by night. Extremely less crowded on weekdays. The overall taste is good. White sauce and mixed sauce pasta are recommended for starters.

Not a paid review, but actually the perfect place to enjoy and relax. Living singing was on top About food- loved all the 4 dishes ordered. spring rolls, white sauce pasta, paneer tikka and tandoori malai chicken. Perfectly made.

Well, heard a lot about this place so went over the next trip to Delhi. Table booking is recommended over weekend. Live music is the highlight of this place, bands here are great and plays super music. DJ is disappointing. Food is quick to serve while quality can get a bit better. Vibe of the place is excellent!

We went for a night dinner with friends here. First and foremost I don't like the attitude of the staff at this place... the entry staff is rude and non welcoming, it was just that we all travelled from far so we decided to stay over otherwise I would have left from the gate. Anyways, we didn't eat much here since we reached here around 9:30, we all had drinks... they had a Bollywood live music show which started at 10:30 for an hour and then there was a DJ. We danced and enjoyed our time inside the covered area since it was getting hot outside. Again the staff was rude when we went out to see the live music program, asking us to get back... and it was hot outside the AC area. The service was slow as well... when we have ordered a bottle, we will need ice and soda promptly... you don't need to remind the waiting staff for this. Whatever we had, the food was pretty okay... nothing exceptional so as to mention. I will suggest to avoid this place purely based on the attitude of their service and staff.

Lighting and live music was on point. Went there with family which had our 11 month old also. Kid also had a great time. Food was very good. Mutton rogan ghosh is highly recommended.

Good place to visit. The food was good. One thing to keep in mind that they have strict standards for clothes no shorts and ethnic wear allowed, also no casual slippers allowed. It was definitely a good experience but an expensive one, I don't think it was worth the price they charge which is why giving it 4 stars. I would say good for one time visit ambience is quite good.
