Customer Reviews & Testimonials
Dasaprakash in Ashok Vihar offers a satisfying South Indian dining experience with some standout dishes. The medu vada and filter coffee are excellent, delivering authentic flavors and the perfect crispness and aroma. The rava masala dosa is also good, though the Mysore masala dosa is just average and doesn't quite hit the mark. Unfortunately, the sweet lime soda was below average and could use improvement. The ambiance is good, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere, and the service is fine, though nothing exceptional. Overall, it's a decent spot for South Indian food.
I wish if I had the option to rate them negative. One of the worst restaurants with extremely pathetic customer services and food. We didn't even finish half of the food and asked for the bill. We had to constantly ask for basics such as water, cutlery and tissue papers at least 15-20 times. Completely ignorant staff with zero intentions to treat customers wisely. If you are looking for a quality family dining experience, please avoid this place. Otherwise, you will end up having a terrible experience and would have to still pay for the horrible experience.
It's a average restaurant on term of taste. service is slow on weekday. And prices are little on higher sideas compare to the food quality they are offering. Far away from a South Indian food taste. I tried Dasprakash Special Dosa, Except for few raisins and few pieces of dryfruits ,nothing else is special. Charging 10 percent service charge and additional 5 percent GST is a cherry on the topping. Stinking and dirty washrooms If u don't want to ruin your taste buds and loose faith in South Indian food taste, don't go .
I went out with my badminton group for a breakfast party. We ordered south indian platters and it was amazing. The food quality, the service, the room temperature and their attention was all on point. I didnt expect such a nice experience and its all worth it for the price. Special mention goes to Pintu who was our lead waiter.
Worst South Indian restaurant in North, North West Delhi. Ordered Pongal with chutney & sambar. But, Got dall rice & raita with papad. Can anyone in universe eat rice with simple raita? They can only prepare idly dosa which a small kid can also do.
Disappointing Experience - Needs Major Improvements I visited this restaurant today expecting a good South Indian meal, but unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. 1. Noise Issues: The moment we sat near the kitchen, we were disturbed by a loud and irritating noise from the kitchen exhaust. It was unbearable, so we moved to a table near the entry gate, only to find that they had a planned repair going on, creating even more noise. 2. Food Quality: The sambar was completely bland, tasting more like plain dal, and the masala inside the dosa lacked any real flavor. South Indian food is supposed to be rich in spices and taste, but this was a disappointment. 3. Poor Service & Common Sense Issues: For a table of six people, they gave just one small set of chutneys (white, red, and green). We had to ask for more, which should be common sense in any decent South Indian restaurant. 4. Lack of Hygiene & Service Attention: After finishing our meal, we ordered coffee and asked them to clean the table, but nobody bothered to do it. The dirty plates remained on our table until we left, which was both unhygienic and unprofessional. Overall, this place seriously needs to improve its food quality, service, and overall dining experience.
Nothing special about food. Pricy and small portion. Location is superb and ambience good. Do try if around but don't have too high expectation. Staff and manager really responsive. Also you can request to wave off service charges.
I visited this place for the breakfast. Their breakfast buffet was worth the price of 299. Chutneys were fresh, sambhar was good, dosa were crispy, vada was my favourite so flavorful, idli and upma were good too. Chach was also good with some green chilli and spices kick to it. Service could improve a little.
