Customer Reviews & Testimonials
Dasaprakash in Rajouri Garden is a refreshing addition to the South Indian dining scene in West Delhi. The place offers a well-rounded experience with authentic flavors, a spacious and neat ambiance, and warm service that adds to the charm. The dosa varieties are crisp and well-made, with their classic masala dosa and rava dosa standing out. The idlis are soft, and the chutneys and sambhar complement the meal well, though the spice levels may feel a bit toned down for those who prefer a punch. Their North Indian fusion options and desserts like the ice cream sundaes and filter coffee are also worth a try. The ambiance is elegant yet casual, making it suitable for both family outings and small get-togethers. Staff is generally courteous and responsive. Prices are fair given the quality and portion size, though slightly on the higher side compared to local South Indian joints. Overall, Dasaprakash brings together tradition and comfort, offering a satisfying South Indian meal.
We came here for breakfast and had a genuinely great experience. The service stood out right away -- everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Despite a noticeable language barrier, the staff went out of their way to help us understand the menu and even pointed out the best value options, which we really appreciated. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a clean and inviting atmosphere that made us feel comfortable right away. As for the food--it was absolutely delicious and sat very well with us, which is always a plus when traveling. Overall, a lovely spot for breakfast with warm hospitality and quality food. We'd definitely come back.
This place is a lovely place to dine out with friends and family. It is a vegetarian food joint that offers a wide selection of north Indian and south Indian options. We ordered a north Indian platter and South Indian thalis along with malai kofta curry. Food was good. The place gives a very south Indian vibe and has traditional pictures all around the place. Service was good but food took time to be delivered especially the South Indian thali which took nearly 25 + mins to be served. The pricing is quite on the higher end so hits on the pocket as is higher than other prominent vegetarian restaurants. One can definitely try the place so recommended without second thought
Giving less than 5 stars will be disrespect and giving more is not possible so 5 it is. The food is really really good, I ordered Dasaprakash special dosa, Chettinad paneer dosa, cocktail gunpowder idli and madras masala vada. Everything was near perfect in taste, quantity and quality. The three chutneys were delicious as was the sambar served with every dish. The staff, service and atmosphere couldn't be better than this.
We went here for dinner with family. The food has degraded a lot. Dosa and everything was tastless. Overall i had a bad experience. If you have little high budget for south indian food, go for it. The ambience is lovely. Service was notch too. Had average experience.
Disappointing experience overall. We had ordered filter coffee and lemon green tea, Uttapam, Mysore dosa and chetinad dosa specifically requesting that the coffee be served before the food and to spread the masala in entire dosa"s which was also NOT DONE! Unfortunately, the coffee never arrived, even after we finished eating. When we asked for the bill after waiting for over 40 minutes, they finally brought the coffee--despite us clearly telling them to cancel it due to the delay. The green tea served was just Lipton, which felt like a very poor choice for the price point. We dont drink this tea at home also. The South Indian food was very average and not worth mentioning. The service was unorganized and quite poor, yet they still added a service charge to our bill, which was completely unjustified considering the experience. 0 hospitality and no managerial skills. Would not recommend--you're better off going to a small, authentic South Indian joint that actually values customer service.
I am very fond of authentic South Indian food. I had seen and heard about Dasaprakash. So today I went with my wife to try their South Indian delicacies. We ordered their unlimited food and other dosas and beverages. Our overall dining experience was below satisfactory levels!! Their food and presentation was good though not great or that authentic South taste, it's more of an North Indian taste. It's reasonably priced. Food could have been much better! Ambience was amazing though, liked it. We clicked a few pictures. GRE was good and reception staff was polite. Now..comes the biggest disappointment, their service staff who serves and takes care of your food on the table. They are not trained properly, no etiquettes, no manners and no promptness or politeness which are required in this service oriented industry. We have hundreds of amazing places to visit and indulge in the meals and when we have chosen this place, we expected a better experience. Anyways.. Our best wishes to their team Hope they improve their service standards and be a little polite while interacting with the customers!
We went for lunch amd had a great time. All the food was delicious but found spring roll a bit average due to which rated it as 4. As it is specialized in south dishes, one must visit it for its special dosa and Idli chilli chaat. I also ordered mix veg uttapam and masala dosa, they also tasted amazing
