Customer Reviews & Testimonials
We visited this place after a recommendation and it turned out very well. Must try butter chicken, aam panna, mirchi naan and if you like more creamy stuff then murg musallam (we didn't like it at all; had better ones elsewhere). But overall a great experience- taste and service.
Dhaba A Punjabi Theme Restaurant in Rajouri Garden, Delhi. If you are a Non-Veg Lover and want to have some scrumptious meals, than this is the place you should visit. It is nit that you would not find any other good restaurant for non-veg, but if you are someone who likes to explore new venues and places for food, than this is a must place to go. Ambience: Ambience is so authentic, which gives you a feel of the Punjab Theme, "as the name suggests". Very beautifully crafted environment, decoration and well placed decor. Chairs are made the authentic way, it is just wow. Food: Really awesome and portion size are very good. You cannot complain on it, although the price are a little up, but you would mind paying seeing the ambience and tasting the food. Staff: Very Helpful Parking: Should not be a problem, but at time it can take time. But eventually you will get it. Good Place to have food.
Tried their food over lunch, have heard they are most authentic. The veg platter was really very very good both on quantity and taste, while the rest of the food was very average. They have this jumbo Lassi and trust me it's too much for even 2 people so order accordingly.
The ambience was good and food was really tasty. The restaurant was hiving a punjabi vibe
One of the best Dhaba themed restaurant in Delhi. Ambience is great, the restaurant is fully decorated like a roadside Dhaba and that too in a Punjabi style, which is very eye catching. Went here on a Saturday, still the service was good but took time in the car parking. The food was amazing, but their main speciality is Butter chicken, which is mouth watering and just outstanding. Prices are moderate and not too overpriced. Their drinks were just satisfactory. The staff was humble and helpful.
This establishment has stood the test of time; we were once regulars with our parents. However, during our recent visit for authentic North Indian cuisine, we were disappointed to find that the place has lost its original charm. In an attempt to cater to a specific demographic, they have altered the menu, resulting in excessively heavy, cream-laden, and overly spiced dishes. After just a few bites, one begins to feel uncomfortable.
Today we visited here and ate Chicken lollipop, Chicken seekh kabab and Vanilla ice cream. Chicken lollipop was so crispy and tasty with spicy red chutney and green chutney. Chicken seekh kabab was also very nice. Their Punjabi theme is so nice whole atmosphere feel we are in punjab. Seating is also very nice. Everything was so perfect.
Nostalgic and truly Punjabi. People in Delhi know and have come to love Dhaba since it started in '89. This iconic Punjabi themed diner is always very ambient with even a truck cut out in the basement. The Butter chicken and dal makhni are some of their oldest recipes and most delicious too. We had Masala Papad, Butter Chicken and Bread. We've visited this place over multiple decades and always liked it.
