went here for the first time to eat veg tried there snacks and all of the snacks were really tasty , there cigar rolls , dahi ka sholey , paneer tikka all of them were really good pasta was average so as mushroom soup but sweet corn & hot n sour was better. we had soo much of snacks that we didnt go for dinner as a vegetarian the place can be considered eating next time as well

Parking can be a problem at peak time. In the afternoon, there was no one for valet parking. Inside space is good enough, and ambiance was nice too. Service was good, and people were courteous. Most of the vegetarian's snacks were great in taste, specifically the tandoori pineapple and main course too. The prices are a little overpriced. Moreover, the charges for coke are more than double the actual price. They will charge service charge if u pay through the third party Apps. Update: Water was leaking from AC and falling on us. Food was just average.

My "signature" dish was a tasteless concoction that looked unappetizing and tasted even worse. The portions were meager, leaving us feeling ripped off and still hungry. To charge such exorbitant prices for food that tastes like it came out of a poorly managed canteen is simply outrageous. You can find far better quality and larger portions at significantly lower prices at numerous other restaurants in Ashok Vihar. Smelling Salts seems to be banking on a fancy name without delivering on any culinary merit. Finally, the atmosphere of Smelling Salts is utterly depressing. The decor is drab and uninspired, creating a cold and unwelcoming environment. The lighting is harsh and unflattering, making the entire dining area feel sterile and devoid of any warmth or ambiance. The background music, if you can even call it that, was a monotonous drone that did nothing to enhance the dining experience. The staff seemed equally unenthusiastic, adding to the overall feeling of gloom. There was no sense of hospitality or any effort to make diners feel comfortable or welcome. Instead of a pleasant evening out, dining at Smelling Salts felt like being stuck in a poorly maintained waiting room. There are countless other establishments in the area that offer better food, cleaner surroundings, and a much more enjoyable ambiance without emptying your wallet. Smelling Salts needs a complete overhaul in its hygiene practices, pricing strategy, food quality, and overall atmosphere to even begin to be considered a viable dining option. Save yourself the disappointment and dine elsewhere.

Table reservation system is pathetic. They even refuse to honour their own reservations of table and tell to wait with vague excuses. Total mismanagement, very embarrassing before guests. A dining with lot of noises....their service staff themselves talk very loudly with each other making it a noisy mess......exactly machhlibazaar. not at all a peaceful atmosphere with guests.

It was okay. Tomato soup was not up to the mark, but good part is they got it replaced.

Being pure vegetarian and with jain prepration also available it makes a nice variety for jain or no onion and garlic crowd! The portions are huge. Loved the malai kofta and kandhari naan. Daal makhni wasn't good. The prices are high I belive as it's expensive. Liked the complimentary panshots. The manchow soup was sad. Place is done beautifully rather elegantly.

Smelling salts is a great restaurant for dine out with family and friends. The taste is good and also the service provided is good. The seating of this restaurant is great where you can watch outside through the glass walls on the side. The price is little bit on the higher side but overall a good restaurant considering all the factors.
