About Our Restaurant
Bikanervala, a name synonymous today with Indian sweets and snacks, traces its humble beginnings to 1905. The operations started out as a small sweet shop - Bikaner Namkeen Bhandar in Bikaner's old city area of Kote Gate by Shri Lal Chand Agarwal. The shop initially sold a few sweets and namkeen tuned to tastes of Bikaneris. There it found acceptance and the shop prospered. Having prospered and created a name for itself in Bikaner's old city area and neighbouring parts of the city, two brothers from the family set out in 1950, to write another chapter in Bikaner Namkeen Bhandar's story.

Service is very poor. I have ordered the food and when i was eating and want to add some cold drinks to it then the waiter told us to go and pay on the counter first then they will give. Even I have paid them Rs 1100 before for the main order. So its so bad that in middle of your lunch i have to get up and pay for the food.
With just two tables occupied, no clean table available, I and my wife had to wait for almost 10 minutes for a table to get cleaned, reflected poor management. Visited this place just for a quick bite. Had idli sambhar with a cup of tea. Idlis were reasonably good, sambhar was good, but the service remained casual, non-professional.
Had breakfast twice. Good hygienic & delicious food. Parking is limited but during easy during morning & afternoon. Plenty of options total vegetarian food. Try their aaloo paratha & vada sambhar. Very tasty A bit costly menu, but okay.

Paneer was hard to find in paneer paratha. Manager Mahender blamed Bikanerwala management. Pathetic food quality
I do hold this place in high esteem.. But today I ordered paneer paranthas and Alloo parantha.. Paneer parantha was not good... Paneer was sour and parantha not well made. I had to throw it. Palak paneer also not that good...especially the quality of paneer.. Sweets are more or less okay..
Staff is rude and ill mannered, most of the times items aren't available or not fresh . This was my second visit and I'm disappointed with this Bikanerwala. Ordered dhokla, wasn't fresh at all
I ordered chole bhature for takeaway, reached home , instead of chole it was half full of green chilli, when I complained the manager he said itne too mirch hoti hai, I am posting pic also
