Computer World

Very very Poor service. Food taste is just ok. Cooks and waiters just keeps on talking loudly inside. Although we came for lunch at 12.30pm, there was no one else apart from us, still service was very poor. Not recommended for this restaurant. Waste of time and money

This is so far the best Mughlai experience I ever had. Even better than Delhi's famous outlets. I loved the way their service staff dealt with you. Do not miss out their Tandoori Chicken platter and Chicken Mandi. I will revisit this for sure and during my 1 month stay in Goa, I visited them almost all weekends.

If you're looking For delicious Biryani and Middle eastern flavours, @al_barakah_kitchen is the place for you. The Chicken Kabsa was one of the best we've had in Goa. The rice was flavourful, mildly spiced & fragrant. chicken was succulent & juicy. Chicken Haleem was special on the menu. Made from lentils , shredded slow cooked chicken , with generous amount of ghee which added richness to the dish. It was very delicious and nutritious as well. We definitely recommend trying this out. Note they serve Mutton haleem as well. Manchurian was good ,fried chicken tossed in slightly sweet, hot & sour Manchurian sauce. pepper chicken was aromatic and chicken pieces were juicy. They have a wide range of menu serving Kebabs, Biryani, Curries ,desserts and Middle Eastern Delicacies. From kababs to chicken Biryani , everything they serve is mouth-watering. We definitely recommend Al Barakah for their homely & delicious food, and budget friendly of course. ~MuchFoodGoa

Al Barakah Restaurant We heard of Al Barakah Kitchen from a few of our friends living down south. We had to drop by coz who could resist a place serving biryani with authentic middle eastern flavors. Al Barakah Kitchen is located on the hilltop in Chandrawado, Fatorda Margao. You definitely would not want to miss this place as the food served here is filled with authentic flavors. The restaurant operations and preparations is overlooked by Mr. Faisal Shah who welcomed us with a smile on his face and showed us to our table. Al Barakah Kitchen has limited seating of about 4 tables. The restaurant sees more takeaways and deliveries. They run from 7:30 am with a breakfast menu serving goan bhajis, scrambled eggs, kheema with bread, parathas & more. You can grab a meal here until 10:30 at night. Here's what we tried at Al Barakah Kitchen: Appetizers: * Chicken Tikka Kebab: 160/- * Malai Chicken Kebab: 170/- * Lahuni Kebab: 160/- * Pahadi Kebab: 160/- * Mutton Haleem: (special days) The kebabs here are super delicious! All the preparations that we tried were unique in their own way. The meat was marinated well as it was pretty evident with each bite. The kebabs were served with green chutney and a side of tomatoes & cucumber. Our personal favorite was the malai kebab which was so creamy and juicy! However, the others were good too! Mutton Haleem was the special on the menu. Boy oh boy, it was one of the best dishes we have ever eaten. Made from ground dals, shredded mutton, and topped with pudina & fried onions this dish was a powerhouse of energy. The flavors of the dal stood out and the texture was that of thick liquid. We squeezed a piece of lime which was absorbed by the onion and added a tangy zesty flavor to it! We definitely recommend trying this out. Main Course: * Chicken Dum Biryani: 160/- The biryani was one of the best we've had in Goa. The masalas are made from scratch at Al Barakah thus adding a very natural and homely flavor to it. The rice was not hard and dry as seen in most biryani outlets. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. For its price, taste, and quantity we definitely would rate it a 100 on 100! We definitely would keep coming back here for it! Dessert: * Gajar Ka Halwa: 50/- * Chawal Ki Kheer: 50/- * Sabudana Kheer: 50/- If we were to describe the desserts here in one word it would be "Phenomenal"! You definitely wont get such rich and flavorful sweet dishes at this price. The gajar ka halwa was served hot. Just smelling the aroma made our mouths water. The desserts were definitely the show stopper here. We just could not get enough of it! We definitely recommend Al Barakah for food that is homely, flavorful, and quantity-wise satisfying! We definitely can say that the food prepared here is prepared with an intention of love and feeding the hungry rather than just a business making money! Everything was super delicious and light! Our time here was filled with smiles and good food! Thank you Al Barakah Kitchen! Definitely going to be back for more! Very famous place for shawarmas in Margao. Shawarma is juicy and perfect. However, the chicken lollipop what we ordered wasn't so nice. Basically, it didn't have any flavour.
