Ritz Classic (local joint, not the posh one nearby) is a hidden gem for pocket-friendly travelers and food lovers who appreciate authentic Goan cuisine without the frills. While many locals already know about this spot, it often gets overshadowed by its more upscale counterpart in Panjim. But honestly, this place wins on value, taste, and vibe. Highly recommend trying their fish thalis, rawa fry, Goan Xacuti, and washing it down with a Solkadi. You'll also find beer and urak at dirt cheap prices. Don't go in expecting fancy decor--it's a small, simple eatery. At times, you might even share a table with strangers, but that's all part of the charm. A must-visit for me every time I'm in Goa.

The fish thali serve here is authentic and also the curry is well prepared. The prawns were fresh and tasty. The ambience isn't great but if the food is then it doesn't matter. Sometimes there is waiting at this place to best to reach early.

Tried the Kingfish Thali in the afternoon, and it was incredible! The taste was outstanding, especially the fish curry and oysters, which were absolutely delicious. The pricing is reasonable, though the seating is limited and a bit congested. However, the flavors make it a must-try. 5/5!

Tasty food no doubt. Had to wait for 15-20 mins. Place is very cozy, but this is the original of all ritzs in Goa. Butter garlic prawns were phenomenal. Prawns thali & king fish fry were tasty.

Food was too awesome and afforable at same time, due to rush staff was not able to attend that properly but overall beautiful experience

Small and a little crowded at lunch. But the food is great. Thalis are simple and items are much lighter than they need to be. I tried their Chicken Thali, Fish Thali(s), Fried fish, Chicken sukkha and some more dishes. Chicken Xacuti is lovely, good thing it's not oiled up. Note : Thalis are available for dinner as well. They accept card payments too.
