Customer Reviews & Testimonials
A costly restaurant where a mountain dew bottle costing 12 is billed 30. Thalli price is more than what Ritz classic charges. Crispy chicken is 310 and Schezwan fried rice 240 not tasty.
The restaurant draws you in just because it looks posh compared to the food court next door that perhaps caters to the simple souls who are regulars from the building. Apart from its plush interiors there is little to recommend. The prices on the menu are missing perhaps they are used to the super rich crowd who just order and Don't bother about petty things as the price of the dishes!! The Chonak fish thali that I ordered came in with the most horrible items on it. The bhendi with fresh coconut was sauteed with the gas off, perhaps because the rawness of the vegetable remained. The shellfish in the tiny katori was full of some masala that took away the taste of the shellfish completely. The dried fish masala too, was something I personally don't like. The rice is served generously in a big bowl in the thali while all other dishes are miserly served in the tiniest bowls. The curry with three prawns and again bhendi, two cut pieces, is not enough to even coat the rice decently and last most important the fillet of fish is one small piece of fish expertly flattened and shrewdly shown as a large piece. Sadly, one ends up tasting the liberally coated rawa instead of whatever wafer thin white looking fish is supposed to be there somewhere under the blanket of rawa. I was royally cheated of a healthy bite into a chunk of the supposed fillet!! We end up paying rupees 380 for this poor spread. Restaurant-NOT WORTH IT. Price-OVERPRICED Service-SLOW
This place truly offers a delightful experience of delicious food at an affordable price. I opted for the kingfish thali, and it turned out to be quite a treat. The curry was bursting with flavor, and the fish was fried good, making it a satisfying choice. The overall impression was definitely positive, with the exception of the veg thali, which was just okay. If you're seeking a recommendation, I'd definitely suggest trying their fish thali.
Had special prawns thali. It went far beyond my expectations. Such a superb fresh prawns curry, rava fried prawns, dried prawns, clams side dish and cluster beans upperi. Service & ambience also appreciated. Place is very less crowded. Recommend all Goan thali lovers.
Service was very good. The food tasted awesome. Drinks were neat and clean.
Highly recommend this place for authentic Goan seafood. The thali is great. The size of the fish, its marination and freshness was on point. The mussels were great too. Will definitely revisit!
