Great Location, Needs Work Elsewhere This place is definitely sitting on a goldmine in terms of location. However, and it's a pretty significant 'however', the service and food presentation unfortunately let down the overall impression. While the location is a major draw, the dining experience itself feels like it's lagging behind. In today's dining scene, presentation is almost as important as taste, and here it truly felt like an afterthought. It lacked any finesse or care, and honestly, it made the food seem less appealing than it perhaps was. This place has incredible potential thanks to its wide array of options and location. If they could seriously invest in training their service staff to be more attentive and efficient, and put some genuine effort into the presentation of their dishes, this could easily become a truly outstanding destination. Right now, the location is carrying the weight, but the service and presentation are unfortunately holding it back from reaching its full potential. It's a place I want to love, but they need to elevate these crucial aspects of the dining experience to match the quality of their location.

It a local restaurant which offers local goan food the best. We tried goan pao, fish cutlet, chicken cutlet pao and pork cutlet pav and veg schezuan noodles. Overall taste was good, but for me chicken cutlet pav was too dry, my friend who tried pork cutlet pav, found the dish fine, schezuan noodles was not at all spicy and missed main flavours and any vegetable. Overall the environment and service is friendly and a very neighbouhood hangout place.

The Ros Omelette was sensational! Who would have thought mixing chicken curry and an omelette could be so tasty? Well, the Goans have managed to master it making it a staple now with some iconic places serving it at select locations. On the chance that we were taking an evening stroll through the Miramar beach, we noticed the tiny little place called D'Silva and got even more curious when we noticed a continuous stream of customers going in and out over a short duration of time. I decided on the Ros omelette having heard about this dish so much, and ordered it for take away. Sadly the place to be seated were all quite basic plastic tables and chairs without much hygiene to speak of, but the rate at which people were ordering take-away gave us much optimism. I did notice that most were ordering the cutlets, but I figured I would do that for another day. The only other thing that challenged us was the wait time. It took an excruciatingly long time to get our 1 order of ros omelette and this was disappointing. At first. Once I reached home and took out the crusty crunchy Pav bread along with the omelette and dunked a bit of the bread into it, all was forgotten as the taste was spectacular! Lots of gravy and chunks to eat from making it an ideal meal post a good intense 2.5 kms walk on the beach. Overall, best to do takeaway - probably order the cutlet but definitely add a portion of Ros omelette and you are good to go. There are many other items to explore - so be sure to check it out while putting on some blinds for the general atmosphere.

Place is just attractive from exterior. The receptionist has no communication skills and acts blank when we ask her for her order. There is no waiters. Have to jus wait in long queues..no quality nor service for the food..better cutlet bread you will get in Santa Cruz at Costas and church square. The beef cutlet bread was soggy..wasn't edible without sauce. The beef cutlet and the fish cutlet were bland in taste..not worth ur money nor time..Do yourself a favor and avoid going there. Before their quality was good but now it's jus hopeless

After being a regular here since the early 2000's, it was highly disappointing when I specifically told the staff at the counter that I do not want a specific type of bread and they gave me what i didn't want. The Proportion of the bread and cutlet was totally absurd. I specifically told them am not a tourist and I know which bread I want my cutlet in. Anyway I guess its being catered totally for the tourist sector now.
