Customer Reviews & Testimonials
Old skool north indian eatery with some of the best food in Panjim. Everything on the menu here is devine and tastes like it was cooked by angels. They have a tandor for that tandor perfection taste and the service is outstanding. the atmosphere is chilled and reserved. Over all this is a great place to eat and worth the trip from surounding areas. One of the best north indian places to eat in Goa, this is comfirmed. Bravo!
This has been my must visit place since past 12 years. Love Tangadi malai kebab here, never found it anywhere else PS it is not spicy, has cashew nut stuffing inside. My favourites here are butter chicken and garlic naan, mutton biryani. The staff is super hospitable. Love the uncle at entrance in his grand attire and lovely moustache always welcoming us with a wide smile. Warm ambience with low retro instrumental music and match being displayed on game days. When in Goa, don't miss Delhi Darbar :)
If you visit this restaurant expecting authentic Delhi or Punjabi cuisine, you'll be disappointed. We had the worst Kadhai Paneer, served in an overly sweet orange gravy. The Dal Makhani tasted like it had just been boiled and then drowned in cream, with no spice or depth of flavor. To make matters worse, we were served burnt naan, and the prices were exorbitant. Definitely not worth it! Instead, I recommend going to Shere Punjab--we had dinner there, and it was much better. Honestly, Delhi Darbaar should have a tagline: "Expensive, but the worst."
A decent simple ambience with the best North Indian food .we had chicken biryani which was nice not spicy though boneless properly marinated served with rayta. Fresh lime water on medium as we asked. Best part was black pepper chicken mouth watering properly cooked soft and tinder and to get a crisp of it mixed with nice salad best starter i had. Would rate this place 4.6 out of 5 Highly recommended i would have tried darbar chicken special but tummy was full maybe next time.
Quality of food is very good. Friendly staff. One can surely visit this place
Lovely place in the heart of Panjim. Spacious. Efficient quick service with smile. Good portion. Tasty and delicious food. Cream of veg soup is a must try. Enjoyed the Veg Bhuna with Butter Roti. Tangy and creamy curry. Steward Bikram and team were ready and eager to serve with a smile.
The food was good . The chicken kebabs are at its best. But the old interiors and also the service needs to be improved.
Don't expect good North Indian food no sign of butter, ghee or cream, it's just average food. Butter chicken was extremely sweet and didn't taste like butter chicken at all. Dal makhani and naan was just ok. We came here by following the name, but was not as expected and the price they have.
