About Our Restaurant
Evergreen Bar and Restaurant belongs to the era when the Heroes were clean shaved and Villans were bearded, Black and White TV set used to display only one channel, Personal messaging was limited to post cards, Matriculation was equivalent to a Masters degree, Cars were rarely spotted on the streets, Rajdoot and Jawa were the only options available for the bike lovers. Led by Mr. Mhablu Mhalsekar, the Evergreen Bar and Restaurant served its first meal on 15th August 1975, which was a historical day for the entire nation as well. It was one of the very few dining options available in the city of Panjim.

We came over for lunch on a Saturday and no one was in except the owner (Sayyam) and his staff. We ordered the chonak fish thali and fresh lime soda. The food was amazing as well as the service and ambience. A must visit for fresh goa food in panjim.
Food was nice taste wise and fresh as well... Just pricing wise a bit pricey especially the squids masala considering the quantity rest was decent... Simple and small place with a nice vibe... Enjoyed the food...

Tasty food paired with good ambience is what this comes out to me as. I was supposed to eat at another famous restaurant in neighbourhood (let's call it 'K.C' for reference ) but that had a huge waiting plus I had been there before so I decided to wander around and now I'm glad I did as I found this. They serve the staple fish thali and have other dishes too on the menu, all being decently priced. I hope they improve on their options for beers though, as currently they have only two on the menu. Also you may have to reconsider if you accompanied by a group as the seating is fairly limited.
If you're looking for a rustic place in Panjim that serves authentic goan food, then look no further than Evergreen Restaurant 1975. A small and cozy setting, the thalis here are fantastic and worth every rupee. The ambience is very homely and cute. They have many interesting posters on the walls.
Worst experience. Served me rotten prawns curry with only 2 pieces which was inedible. Definitely would never visit there again also recommend this to anyone. There are many good options nearby.
Good quality was awesome owner Mr Sayam was polite and helpful must visit spot in Goa for loan Goan sea food Chicken capreal is must try And take any fish to eat It will taste delicious and all fish were fresh
