After seeing scenic Our Lady of Immaculate conception, you can feast here in this small Goan style restaurant. Good Goan style food is decent in taste, although I found it a little expensive. Service is fast, they offer a variety of drinks also including Goans famous jungle Juice "Urrak". Do give a visit if y'all are roaming in panjim.

Went for an early dinner, on a weekday. This restaurant is recommended for Goan cuisine. We go there mainly for their meat preparations. Starters: Beef salted tongue, Pork cream chop, sausage pao (bread) - all good, & Bombay duck rava fried (v. mediocre). Mains: Beef pulav (super, sharing portion). Dessert: Caramel pudding. (no other Dessert on the menu!) Except for the fish (Bombil), the food was enjoyable. Service good. Ambiance somewhat noisy, as faces the busy road traffic. They serve alcohol - no alcohol menu though, for reasons best known to them. Would recommend this place for a decent Goan meal, mainly for the meats.

George Restaurant and Bar in Goa is a true gem! Established in 1956, it offers a fantastic blend of history and delicious food. I tried the beef, crab, chicken, and bun, and everything was exceptionally tasty. The flavors are authentic, and the service is warm. A must-visit for food lovers!

Disappointing Experience: Overcooked, Dry Chicken at George Hotel I recently had the misfortune of dining at George Hotel, and the chicken dish I ordered was an unmitigated disaster. The culinary catastrophe that arrived at my table was an insult to the very concept of cooking. *Overcooked and Dry* The chicken breast was cooked to an unholy crisp, rendering it as dry as the Sahara desert. Each bite was a chore, like chewing on a piece of leather. The texture was unpleasantly rubbery, making me wonder if it had been sitting under the heat lamp for hours. *Lackluster Presentation* The presentation was lackluster, with the chicken slapped onto the plate like an afterthought. The accompanying vegetables were limp and flavorless, adding nothing to the dish. *Uninspired Seasoning* The seasoning was uninspired, with a generic sprinkling of salt and pepper that failed to elevate the dish in any way. It was clear that the chef had phoned it in, relying on the most basic of seasoning techniques. *Disappointing Value* Considering the exorbitant price tag, I expected a dish that would at least meet the basic standards of culinary competence. Instead, I was served a subpar meal that left me feeling disappointed and ripped off. *Final Verdict* In conclusion, my experience with the chicken dish at George Hotel was a resounding disappointment. With its overcooked, dry texture, lackluster presentation, uninspired seasoning, and disappointing value, this dish is a must-avoid. Unless the hotel takes drastic measures to revamp their culinary offerings, I would advise diners to steer clear of this establishment.

A mixed experience....Some dishes were good and some terrible...the chicken vindaloo was smelly and was as sweet as a falooda. The steak was stale and powdery and had an overpowering sauce to it. Fresh Lime sodas were served flat and were replaced, but still not up to the mark. Some of the items were not fresh. In a matter of hours I had an acid reflux and some of us had upset stomachs. Attaching pictures...but don't go by them as pics could be deceiving at times.

Lovely restaurant, right next to the Panjim Church. The food is good and authentic but looking at the quantity and service the food items are overpriced and expensive. You can visit if you are looking to try some authentic goan cuisine. The restaurant is small and cozy. A small group or a family can join in to enjoy the food. As mentioned the food is good but comparatively it's expensive. They need to improve they service and the dining experience.
