Godinho Bar and Restaurant

Chance bought us here. Upon walking in Panjim, we came across this place. Don't judge a book by it's cover... A lovely place, we were fortunate to get a table even thou we just walked in, noticed that after a short while of our arrival they received many patrons. On that unusually hot day , we were not really hungry for a full meal. Beer, a plate of fries, Chicken lolipop and Chicken Xacuti was ordered. Food was delicious, service was quick and efficient. Noticed, who I'm guessing is the owner, was walking around to the tables and making sure the patrons received their orders and were happy. No one walked up to us thou. Nonetheless, my parents were content. Something that struck me was, when the bill arrived there was no taxes mentioned, guessing it must be added to their menu instead. Overall was a good experience in Panjim. A must visit. You should try some of the local food they have and also their drinks.

Godinho's was on our bucket list for a while, and it definitely lived up to its reputation. The place has a warm, cozy vibe with a great ambiance that makes you feel right at home. The food is excellent, and I highly recommend exploring the prawns dishes. The overall experience was fantastic. Whether you're going there for a meal or just for drinks, the quality and flavors are on point. If you're a football fan, you'll love the cafe's decor, which features posters and paintings celebrating the sport. It's a nice touch that adds to the overall charm of the place. If you're in the area, Godinho's Cafe is definitely worth a visit!

It's like a cozy little haunt you'd come to for a quick pint after work. We had a pomfret fish curry, a king fish rawa fry and roasted pork. Roasted pork was an excellent accompaniment to the drinks we had. On that note, do ask the price of the seasonal fish before you place an order!

The food was good loved the chorizo and squids rechado. The mussels rava fry are my favourite and theirs did not disappoint. The schezwan fried rice and chicken manchurian was also terrific. The favourite part about this whole meal was the caramel pudding. It took me back to my grandmother's cooking just as authentic and flavourful and fluffy. The ambience transports you back to Portugal. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Godhino's Restaurant and bar is located in the heart of Panjim is a 3rd generation owned Restaurant which serves authentic Goan Portuguese food. The food does ensure to get you in food coma. We tried their Prawn Rava Fry Chicken Fried Rice Chicken Lollypop-

Amazing place in the heart of Panjim! The chicken cafrael and beef chilly was delicious and our beef steaks were cooked nicely and seasoned well. Overall an amazing place to eat some delicious beef dishes!

If you are looking for authentic Goan food, Godinhos is the place. They are open even after the dreaded 3pm deadline. Ambience is nothing to rave about but service and food are excellent. The stake was par excellence! My 2nd visit and more than happy to go back..

Situated in and old Goan house in Panjim this serves good Goan food along with the usual North Indian and other stuff. It's cheap with a well stocked bar and accessible. Quick service and a friendly owner are other pluses.
