Customer Reviews & Testimonials
Gastrobar Petisco is truly a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Panjim, and it's everything you'd want in a cozy dining experience. Despite its small size, the place packs a punch with bold, boastful flavors that will leave you wanting more. The fusion of Goan local ingredients with creative twists is simply outstanding--each dish speaks to the rich culinary heritage of Goa while introducing something refreshingly new. The quality of both the food and service was exceptional. Maheera & us felt very welcomed and comfortable. Their attention to detail and genuine care for the customer experience truly set this place apart. The cocktail "Ambo" was the highlight of our dining experience--its unique flavor profile elevated the entire meal. It's a must-try for anyone visiting Petisco. This visit, we tried the vegetarian options, and I must say, I'm already planning my next visit to explore the non-vegetarian offerings. If the veg dishes are anything to go by, I'm sure the non-veg ones will be equally as impressive. Great work, Pranav and team Petisco--I'll definitely be coming back for more!
Dish names too fancy to remember any of them! But the food was amazing the squids with the coconut grating crust was so decadent. The squid literally melted it wasn't chewy or gummy. Whch showed how fresh the food was. Also the potato bebinca (yea dats wat I call it) was yummy with that gravy on the bottom and the chicken.. do net get me started with the chicken it wasmuahhhhh. The rice was yum doh the potato chips on the top were unnecessary but added a crunchy dimension to the buttery dish. It was amazing right from the presentation till the taste tests. And last but not the least. The BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE.. doh we were lik ehh how different is it gonna be from regular cheesecakes. It was. It was perfect the sweetness was very balanced not too sweet JUST PERFECTION! and that sauce.. if I wasn't in a restaurant I'd lick the whole plate clean-- (uh who said that?). It was a delightful experience. Also I love the fact their washrooms had sanitary pads toowhich is soo thoughtful of them. Love when women are understood and acknowledged. . Definitely worth a try. Must visit doh the menu seems a bit uk.. small (considering I'm a non fish eater- squids, prawns , crabs are not fish bdw they technically Cephalopods and crustaceans ). So yea if u love fish they have great options. Oh and vegetarians it's a feast for yall. Even that ghas pus (basically whole green salad lik dish) doh sad looking in the beginning was the yummiest !!. I mean if someone cooked lik this for me if get in shape in no time. They can make Eben the saddest of vegetables shine. I love this place
Had a wonderful dinner here, the food was delicious and unique. What I found commendable was the service, it was professional, courteous and polite. I had visited back in 2022, it's great to see that they have maintained their quality and service, would definitely visit again!
Pitesco Goa was an unforgettable dining experience. From the first bite to the last spoonful of dessert, every dish was crafted with precision and passion. Here's what we enjoyed: * Fried Chicken - Crispy, juicy, and seasoned just right. A comforting classic elevated. * Hot Fish Goujon - Light and flaky with a perfectly balanced heat. Freshness in every bite. * Homemade Pasta Truffle Mushroom with Chicken - Showstopper! Silky pasta, a rich truffle mushroom sauce, and tender chicken--this dish deserves a standing ovation. Truly indulgent and unforgettable. * Flame Grilled Chicken - Absolute highlight! The smoky aroma, perfectly charred skin, and juicy meat made this a dish we'll come back for. Bold, hearty, and deeply satisfying. * Caramel Richer - A smooth, decadent treat with layered depth--sweet, but never overpowering. * Barley Chocolate - Inventive and cozy. The texture of barley combined with rich chocolate made it surprisingly addictive. A special thanks to Rohan, the attending staff member, who ensured we had a seamless and delightful experience. His warm demeanor, attention to detail, and thoughtful suggestions truly enhanced our evening. If you're in Goa, don't miss Pitesco. This place isn't just a meal--it's a memory. Can't wait to return!
This restaurant truly stands out! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a very professional staff that makes you feel instantly welcome. What truly impressed me was their delectable menu - each dish sounded more enticing than the last, a testament to the chef's creativity. It's clear the waiters know their menus inside and out, offering helpful insights and recommendations. The food itself is nothing short of excellent gourmet. Each plate is a work of art, beautifully presented, and the flavors are simply divine. What's even more surprising is that this exceptional quality doesn't come with an exorbitant price tag; it's very well priced, offering incredible value for such a high-caliber dining experience. This great place is clearly run by someone with a passion for fine food and impeccable service. I can't wait to return!
Nice place. Drinks are really good, dessert was really nice. Vegetarian can seem limited, we had open taco, mushroom toast. My husband had fish. Non veg was really good while vegetarian was alright.
Have always had this one on my list curious to know what Petisco means! And true to its name, it has lived up to its culinary excellence, both, in food as well as beverages! Being a Goan, it's a matter of pride as well as delight to see our local produce being so innovatively included in global cuisines. Ordered the assorted mushroom, lamb manakish, hot fish goujons, and pan fried mackerel, and not to forget the caramel Rocher! Combined with summer special cocktail - Jack n chill, and Goan twist specials - Dodol as well as Maroon Five! Super excited to see tambdi bhaji and bimla in the ingredients section and extremely satiated to have relished it first-hand! The ambience is just perfect to hang out with friends as well as family. They have a plus one upstairs, plus an underground seating! And the staff is simply super sweet!
Petisco in Fontainhas, Panaji is an underrated gem--we only wish we'd found it sooner. Tucked just outside the colorful streets of Fontainhas, it's the perfect stop after a lazy Sunday stroll through the Latin Quarter. Parking can be tricky on working days, so go early for a spot right outside. We went in around noon, and the vibe was chilled, with attentive but not overbearing staff--refreshingly different from the overly pushy service you often get in Panaji. What we tried: * Prawns a la Plancha: Juicy, smoky, and bursting with flavor. The Goan Poi served alongside was soft and spongy--easily the best upscale version we've had. * Homemade Pasta: Beautifully presented, surprisingly healthy, and generous in portion. A rare dish that checks all the boxes. Drinks: * Peti Mezcal Margarita: So good we ordered a second round. Smoky, tangy, and perfectly balanced. * Ultimate G&T: Crisp and refreshing--a solid pick if you're not into mezcal. Service: Polite, relaxed, and on point. No upselling, no hovering--just smooth and easy. Washroom: 4/5. Clean and functional, though a bit dimly lit. Overall: A thoughtful, flavor-forward menu, great cocktails, and relaxed vibes make Petisco a top pick in Panaji. Definitely worth returning for.
