Viva Panjim is a lovely spot tucked inside the colorful streets of Fontainhas. The vibe is homely and peaceful, and the staff is super friendly. The food is full of authentic Goan flavours - don't miss the seafood! If you're in Panjim and craving something local, this place is a must-try.

This resturant is a must Visit in Fontaines for mouthwatering seafood and other cuisines with ashethic ambience. Their service is very quick no matter how much is the crowd.food taste was 10/10. This is located in a 100 years old Portuguese House.

Goan pride done well despite a proliferation of chinese items on the menu. This little hole in the wall resturant while in a heritage home down a narrow alleyway in the beautiful neighbourhood of Fontainhas serves local food the way it was intended. If you go at an off peak time (like I did ) you get to chat with the staff , sample their homemade feni and urak and have a wonderful (if low on salt) meal . Check it out on your next trip to Goa

If you looking for a good restaurant that serves amazing Goan food in Panjim, this is the place. Viva Panjim is a small comfortable restaurant where you and your family and friends can relax and enjoy good food. We ordered seafood combo meal, prawn balchao with rice and Goan bread. The combo quantity was good and it came with different seafood items, fries, prawn curry with rice. Everything was delicious!! The service was quick and very helpful.

One of the oldest authentic Goan-Portuguese cuisine. But we got a bit saucy in all. I ordered orange honey pork steak, barbecue prawns, mixed seafood sizzler (yea,i made a mistake, all came with honey and sauce). We got scammed this time, lol . But Chicken chilly fry was yummy (it was dry). And lime soda was good. Best time to visit 7pm to 10pm.

A hidden gem in the beautiful old quarters of Panjim! The location is peaceful and full of character. The food was absolutely authentic -- rich Goan flavors just like home-cooked meals. Loved the experience and would definitely come back!

First of all let me state that we came an hour before closing time. I don't know how relevant this is but I'll mention it here. We had 4 things and none of them met my expection. The chicken chilly fry was the only 'ok' one, the prawns barbeque was just about fine but the prawns themselves were good but they aredrowned in a sweet garlicky sauce( could have mentioned it somewhere on the menu, or maybe ask the waiter to mention it to the customer?), next up was the seafood sizzler, which to no suprise was also sweet!! The seafoody flavour just was not there and we had one among us who had their sizzler before and even she was surprised at how bad this was. And finally the most disappointing one, the orange honey steak pork. It was drowned in the same sweet sauce as the prawns,( so just recycling the same sauce for every dish i guess??If i wanted something this sweet I would've gone to an ice cream store. It was also on the firmer side, not what you usually expect from pork. The waiter seemed cold, but then again they might've been rushing since it was near closing time. To sum it up, had high expectations going by reviews and even suggestions from friends but had to leave feeling extremely disappointed!

Go for food and feni (Feni is a spiritous liquor type originating in Goa, India.) It's a local drink. I would say must try! It's in the historic fontainhas quarters. Seating was quick, they have indoors and patio seating. Feni is a strong liquor, enjoy it with a soda!
