Antique Mardol

The ambiance at Antique Mardol is decent. Dishes Tried: Chicken Manchow Soup: Good Fresh Lime Soda: Refreshing Chicken Chilly: Did not like (different from South Indian style) Cheese Butter Naan: Decent Chicken Tikka Masala: Not great Overall Experience: Average dining experience, The Chicken Manchow Soup was the only dish I found satisfactory.

I had a frustrating experience at Antique Mardol Ponda. We wanted to order the crunchy chicken, but our waiter, seemingly clueless, mistakenly ordered crispy chicken instead. This simple mix-up ruined our meal, as we didn't enjoy the dish at all. To make matters worse, the fried chicken we received was not cleaned properly and still had feathers on it. It's unacceptable that the staff didn't seem to care about food quality or accuracy in orders. I expected better service and attention to detail. I won't be returning anytime soon unless they make significant improvements.

I had the worst experience till now at this place. Went for lunch with my wife on Monday afternoon and only ordered two items. They took more than one hour to serve. Also the taste was below average. 60-70 min to prepare biryani and paneer tikka is not acceptable. They have only two waiters to attend more than 10 tables.

Two times bad experiences antique mardol at Ponda The food quantity was disappointing, although the quality was okay. The service from the staff was poor. They need to pay attention to their management skills and the way they communicate with customers. They always seem to be in a hurry.

Don't ever visit this restaurant. We don't get proper food, they don't have e the staff to serve the food you ordered and prices are in a way where you get so much better food at road side with 80% less price. You need atleast 3 to 4 Thalis to get you stomach full for an average person consume food on daily basis. They need to consider all these into consideration to get some positive feedback back from all people.. already it's 3.7 Which may come below 3 in no less than 6 months...

One should try their chiken thali you get 4(butter chiken , kadai,palak chiken,masala ) options of chiken gravy +dry items, roti , rice soul curry and your tummy gets full with it. Quality is nice and service is fast too. One should try their fish thali also. The consistency in taste is 70/30 but quality remains the same. I would recommend the place and would rate it 4.2 out of 5

Antique Mardol ponda is one of the branches of their restaurant chain . The speciality of this place is Goan fish thali & it has a twist of its own. Served on a huge banana leaf with many dishes put together that includes King Fish rava fried fillet , rice prawns curry, clams sukha ,crab xeq xeq,etc etc . the food was very tasty . Over all it is worth the price you spend. And the ambiance is nice and cozy. If you like thali and fish don't miss this place.
