1944 The Hocco Kitchen (Sindhubhavan)

Overall, one of the finest North Indian Cusine restaurant in Ahmedabad. Every single dish has its own taste and aroma which makes them special. Service is absolutely commendable.

Dined at non-veg for the first time Food were not healthy but expensive Waited so much to get seat but not to the expectation*x don't recommend specially for non veg if you're going for non veg

It is one of the decent restaurants at SBR. Food is good but Veg Biryani was disappointing, it was more like tawa pulav. Rest of the food and service was very good. Update: Biryani is always served in layered form with birista on top followed by multiple layers of rice, vegetables etc. What served to us was all mixed up tawa pulav types.

This place has always been on the list of favourite go to fine dining places of ahmedabad, but today I tried something which I didn't try here. 1. Malai Kofta (Sabzi) 2. Lasagne (which they claim to be their signature dish) Both of the above dishes were a major disappointment as taste was not up to the mark. I hope they take this feedback seriously. At the end I had to satisfy myself with the yummy dessert. (Sizzling brownie with ice cream). As hocco icecream never fails to cater delicious desserts

The food at 1944 Restaurant is exceptional! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The variety on the menu caters to different tastes, with both traditional and innovative options. The ingredients felt fresh, and the presentation was impressive. A delightful dining experience for anyone who appreciates quality food.

The most iconic chana puri of havmor is seen in its full glory here. And it has its nostalgic taste and look and feel. Makke de roti and sarson da saag was equally good. We relished the starters and crunchy rumali roti is always our preferred choice to begin with. You can go with family and friends and host your small get-togethers here.

This place is pure nostalgia for all Amdavadis for sure. It was one of the only and best fine dine places in town. Most importantly, we are fortunate that the taste is still the same. We ordered the OG Chana Puri, which was amazing as expected, the taste is consistent and the condiments pair with the dish so well. We also tried the Khow Suey Soup and it was pure gold. The quantity, the flavours, the extras everything was just right. It is a highly recommended dish for all soup lovers out there.
