1944 The Hocco Kitchen (Sola)

We have ordered smoked paneer, Margareta pizza,sizzler and crispy veg. This not the first we went there to enjoy our special moment but its been more den decade we are visiting 1944. But at science city we went first time. One can find authenticity in food, quality top Notch. Service ek number. I can close my eyes and try any of their dishes. If u believe in quality den 1944 is best option. Mr. Satyam, manager there, personally interacting with each and every customers.

One-Star Review for 1944 - The Hocco Kitchen I visited 1944 - The Hocco Kitchen on 12th March for dinner, and my experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the service was subpar. The staff seemed disorganized and inattentive, making us wait unnecessarily before even taking our order. Once we placed our order, it took an unacceptable 30 minutes for the food to arrive, despite the restaurant not being overly crowded. When it finally came, the food was lukewarm and lacked flavor, which was frustrating given the long wait. The presentation was also not up to the mark, making the overall experience underwhelming. To make matters worse, the staff showed little interest in attending to customers. Basic requests, like refilling water, were either ignored or fulfilled with visible reluctance. The lack of attentiveness and professionalism was disappointing. Overall, my dinner at 1944 was not worth the time or money. Poor service, long wait times, and average food make this a place I wouldn't recommend. I hope the management improves their service, but I won't be returning anytime soon.

We went here thinking we would have good food in peace and quiet but we were so wrong. The place which is potrayed as premium is literally below average in the ambience, cleaniliness and service. I would give service a special 0 here. Only premium are the prices. Servers are not trained to serve the food when they bring it to the guests nor do they serve water. The wait time for food is almost an hour and dont be suprised if they bring in the wrong order. Also the serves are the ones taking the order and they have no idea how any of the dishes on the menu is prepared and they look at you dumbfounded when you ask them. Would recommend everyone to give this place a miss when there are much better options out there!

What I really liked that most of authentic taste in every dish Coconut pineapple was something unique but I really enjoyed it Kaccha aam bite juice was something unexpected but the taste was like it's made at home - best in summer Chole bhature was top notch. Ambience, service and everything was good.

If you are looking for a premium restaurant to eat at, then 1944 is not for you. There is no feel like a premium restaurant, the place is very small, the staff is not that good, and the food is absolutely tasteless. A simple item like buttermilk costs 169. Paneer tikka masala tastes better in a roadside dhaba.

Pros: Food taste was better. Cons: 1) Cleanliness was not proper. I can see dust on furniture of restaurant. when we ask manager, he was speechless. 2) Food quality: We ordered Khow suey soup and Balti paneer. I think that gravy they used for making balti paneer was not fresh. Somehow me and my spouse got trouble in stomach and other reason I can't specify here. Actually on sunday they had 6 to 7 tables vacant, might be they have not that much consumption to provide fresh food and I understand that overprice menu is obvious one reason for less customers. 3) Many restaurants are located in that area and they do not valet car facility, especially on Sunday it is expected.
