Customer Reviews & Testimonials
Annkut had been on my list of must-try restaurants for quite some time, and I finally got the chance to visit last Sunday. As expected, we had to wait about 30 minutes for our turn at this popular Thali spot. Once seated, the ambiance was surprisingly calm compared to other similar places, which was a welcome change. The meal began with complimentary sweet and savory snacks paired with a refreshing lemon and mint sharbat. Then came the star of the experience--the Thali--served in full glory! Here's what it included: Chaat Farsaan: Dhokla, Batata Vada A mini Vedmi Gujarati Dal and Kadhi Mango Ras Bhindi, Potato Sabzi, Vaal (Fava Beans), Karela Sabzi Roti and Puri Rice Chilled Buttermilk The flavors were delightful, and the variety made it a wholesome meal. The dining experience was equally satisfying, with attentive and courteous staff who didn't rush us despite the crowd waiting for their turn. All in all, a memorable meal at Annkut!
Wonderful ambiance with extraordinary food taste Love to have lunch here I think this is one of the best place in Ahmedabad for Gujarati thali Must visit this place They have very limited food options in thali but every thing is so so so tasty Quality of food was great
Amazing food and great place to have thali in city. Super clean and on time service. Waiting can be expected over weekends and dinner time, advisable to take 30-45 mins advance booking.
3.5 rating 4 rating to serving and atmosphere, rating also includes presentation of thali. It starts with Tokri with guju starters depicting 56 bhog. After that serving of welcome drink followed by food and pan at end In food aam ras was not upto the mark, it was too sugary instead of natural and little sugar if required but here it was like having Maza. One of the starters was a sandwich Dhokla, it was cold so not giving the taste it should have. All other things like bata vada, welcome drink, 4 subzi, daal, kadhi, mohanthal was really good We enjoyed the place with family here.
Authentic gujrati unlimited food in 450. 15 + variety were available in snacks, curry and sweets. Service was nice and nice decorated place.
Good food and ambience. Service was also good. Had a dinner there with family. Adult and kids have different rates. Manager was polite and courteous. Gujarati thali was good.
Nice place for authentic Gujarat food. The outlet is tidy with little space between tables. They serve Gujarati meal with welcome drink, 4 veggies, 2 farsans, chaat, dal/kadhi, roti/puri, papad/pickle, rice and buttermilk. Fruit salad and mung daal halva tasted like charm. All veggies were good. Each food item tasted very good. There might be parking issue in peak hours. However, they have valet parking service. It costed 446 INR per head which I felt little higher based on my overall experience.
Gujarati Thali served in a traditional way. I highly recommend to go this place with a little extra space in you tummy, to do justice to each of the dishes served. Food is served in brass-ware along with accompaniments and salad. Delicate phulkas, puris, and various kinds of rotis. Do try each of the dishes served in the individual katoris. They're a delight. One of my personal favorite for Gujarati food since the last 3 years, they have an assortment of items that they keep changing according to the season. The service is quick and efficient, perfect place for group lunches. Restaurant is bang on the main road with limited parking space.
