Exceptional service by the entire team of Dravida from hospitality to food. Loved most of the dishes here. Good for organising any family function or office party.

"Dravida" went out of the way and made my mom dad 50th anniversary celebration a special and memorable event. The staff helped us in decorating the area / private hall (sitting area for around 12-14 people) and played music of our choice during the anniversary celebration. They helped us in every way they could and my parents and other family guests were very happy with the service. The experience is truly fine dine. Apart from the food being authentic from the south of India, the decor & presentation is also top notch. We all enjoyed the authentic South Indian menu offering a variety of dishes both veg and non veg. Appam is a must try. The serving portions are fair enough too. Thank you whole team including chef too who made this special day extra special and memorable for me and my whole family. Kudos to all team members too!!!

Had ordered for Seer fish fry, fish curry and rice. The seer fish fry was just not fresh and was also served cold. The curry was ok. The disappointing experience to have a good Malabar style fish cuisine continues in Ahmedabad.

Food:- the Best place to have lunch or dinner. Authentic scrumptious South Indian food with great taste. Must go place for south Indian Foods. Ambience:- one of the best view from this hotel, very neat place, well-maintained tables and soft music. You will not want to get up from that place due to the good environment. Service:- Service was the tremendous, well-trained staff, cheers for staff. Hotel is running only due to good staff. I really appreciate the cook and staff. I recommend everyone to go and visit this place.

Dec 2022 - Today we wanted to try a South Indian Thali so we selected Dravida. We did not know that they had a Kattumaram Coastal Food Festival going and the only option was a Veg or Non-Veg Festival thali. Since we wanted thali we decided to get one Veg and one Non-Veg Thali. You can see what was included in the pictures. While the food and flavors were good, I was a little disappointed with the overall service which is why I am giving a 4 star rating. The staff was not attentive as I would expect from such a restaurant. As part of the festival, I would ask that the staff educate guests on how the food should be enjoyed. As someone who was having a South Indian Thali for the first time, which I told our waiter, it would be good to suggest what goes well with what and what other options they have. The staff did tell us what was on our plate but not how to eat it. Also a little more education about the festival would be nice. The fish curry and the mushroom curry stood out in my opinion. Do order an Appam which they make fresh and bring to the table. There is a pickle cart which we found out later and did try. I would like to try food from their regular menu so may go back someday when the festival is over.

Checked out this happening nonveg Thali feast at Dravida @ Fortune select. Massively inspired from Ancient tamil recipes , the food was great. But before that , let's talk about hospitality. From the hotel door host to the reception up till the restaurant table attendant , everyone welcomed us with the utmost attention and warmth. (Pretty sure a smile was hiding behind those masks) Beautifully done decor and lighting. Delicious mix of different proteins , breads and rice on my plate. I was quite happy with it and BOOOOM. Dropped hot right onto my plate , hot as a bomb was THE APPAM. I swear on Christ , before I could turn around to thank the bomber I gobbled it all. I thanked Chef Sundar only after asking for two more , which he happily delivered straight from the pan 5 metres behind me! Very prompt attendance on the table by Chandru and Chandan ! The boys knew what they were doing and I couldn't be any more happier about it. Very beautifully spiced curries as I always have been inclined towards Black pepper ! Nothing on the thaali was obscenely oily or makes you feel bloated ! PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU REFILL YOUR fish curry. Hot appams dipped in Fish curry is Nirvana. Coming to what could be improved ? Training the team to pronounce the dishes correctly adds a big bonus. Men's washroom bin felt challenging like a basketball hoop unless you believe in Doing a slam Dunk. I woke up this morning to realise that they forgot to bring the entree and soup for my sister Major miss was We didn't get any sherbet which was part of our THali, so no picture of that. #foodie #Thali #Nonveg #seafood #dravida #MasterCardPaidForIt
