Udipi Cafe

I recently visited Udipi and tried the Tomato Uttapam, Jain Mysore Masala Dosa, and Cheese Corn Dosa. The food was delicious, with well-balanced flavors and good texture. However, there was a waiting time of around 20 minutes, likely due to the crowd. The service was decent but could have been better given the rush. Despite the wait, the food quality made up for it, and it was a satisfying experience overall. Would recommend it for those who enjoy authentic South Indian flavors!

I tried this place UDIPI as its been known for their south indian foods and south indian cuisine and other cuisine too As i tried Masala dosa : 3.8/5 ( could be a bit thin but the masala was good ) Idli sambhar : 3.5/5 (idli could be a little more softer) (While in both sambhar and coconut chutney was amazing) I tried punjabi thali Where the sabzis were good 3.8/5 Tandoori roti were fresh 4.5/5 Dal was like homely cooked 4/5 Pulao was 4/5 And the dessert gulab jamun 5/5 While the curd disappointed Was a bit sour 2/5 But i had to say the environment was so friendly and the service was absolute , the very best it could get , 10/10 in service Definitely should go and try it

Food was great, service was fast and staff was good and helpful only thing is hygiene as there were flies buzzing by when you're eating.

Very expensive for a average place. Rava masala 189rs is priced higher than mumbais most iconic udipi joints. Taste average

Felt like kicking their a### fifteen minutes no one even gave menu card after asking smiling like moron he gave me again no one came to take order ultimately i left 8 Aug- since no option near by i had to go for dinner to the same place I sat at the entrance section this time it was good the guy was very attentive and the south indian Thali is too good repeated again for lunch on 9th again this time the guy was good so changing my opinion.

The food items which are provided over here are quite hygienic, tasty and affordable. I have tried many dishes over here such as Medu Wada, aamras puri and Cheese masala dosa. Medu Wada was quite crispy and the sambar was very good in taste. In Cheese masala dosa cheese was grated from the top and the masala was not having cheese mixed with it. However the taste of the dosa was pretty good. Aamras puri was great in taste. The aamras consistency was quite thin however was great in taste. Would recommend everyone to try the Aamras puri. The staff was quite friendly and quick in taking orders and delivering it over the table. Overall a great restaurant for daily satisfying your hunger at Paldi Area.

Udipi cafe paldi is the best restaurant for not only South Indian cousins, they are serving Gujarati and Punjabi thali too. Very fast and accurate service they're providing, the quality of food is also excellent and accurate as per your orders. Location of paldi cross road is the prime benifit of this restaurant, they are serving much better food than so called food chain like honest etc. We wish them all the best and for future development of a family restaurant in the heart of the city. Their tea and coffee even better of any tea brand totally paisa vasul family destination with complete satisfaction.

Old age Authentic place for having food, their unlimited lunch is a must try and their south indian delicacies are remarkable
