Best food...Ambience is good...Taste is authentic Gujarati...very delicious and hygienic food. No extra spices and the cleanliness of place is superb. Very good taste. Must visit place for lunch and dinner in Gondal. Forget big names and other hype...Great Gujarati taste ...Just like home made items.

Recently, I had the opportunity to enjoy a Gujarati vegetarian thali (Goverdhan Thal Gondal )while traveling from Bhopal to Somnath and it turned out to be a delightful experience. I have phoned at restaurants and they have arrived at stations well before time. Presentation and Packaging: The thali was neatly packed in a hygienic and eco-friendly container, ensuring the food remained fresh and warm. The compartments in the tray were well-organized, making it easy to access each dish without mixing flavors. Taste and Variety: The thali included a balanced assortment of classic Gujarati dishes: 1. Rotis - The rotis were soft and freshr, quintessential Gujarati touch. The rotis were fresh, though they had hardened slightly due to travel time. 2. Dal - The sweet-tangy dal was a standout, capturing the essence of Gujarati cuisine perfectly. a hint of sweetness, paired beautifully with the steamed rice. 3. Sabzi - The two vegetable dishes (usually seasonal) included one dry curry and one semi-gravy. The flavors were mild but comforting, with a homely taste. 4. Farsan - The dhokla was spongy and paired well with the accompanying chutney, a burst of flavors with every bite. 5. Pickles & Chutneys - The pickles added a tangy punch, while the green and sweet chutneys enhanced the flavors of the snacks and roti. Portion Size: The portion sizes were more than enough for a single person, leaving me satisfied without feeling too full. Hygiene and Freshness: Despite being served on a moving train, the food quality was commendable. It was fresh, clean, and tasted authentic, with no signs of over-processing or staleness. Price: The pricing was reasonable, offering good value for money considering the variety and effort required to deliver such a meal during travel. Verdict: I would recommend this Rating: 4/5 If you're a fan of Gujarati cuisine or just looking for a vegetarian option while traveling, this thali is worth trying in Gondal.

My only feedback would be that it can get a bit crowded during peak hours, so there might be a wait. However, the food and experience are worth it. Overall, a delightful place to savor authentic Gujarati cuisine!
