It is a non-veg restaurant.It sells chicken item,Eggs items,Mutton items and Sea food.Chicken and mutton dum biryani is speciality.Chicken afghani was very testy.Table.service is available.Butter milk,cold.drinks available.Chapati tandoori roti is also available.Food was very tasty.Rate is very reasonable.Hotel interiour is very good.
Ordered the following - Chips (were actually fries) 100 Half Tandoori chicken - 270 Seekh kebabs - 300 The Tandoori was very dry and tough and so were the seekh kebabs. Was like the kebabs were made from meat minced in a blender. The fries very perfect (most probably from frozen packet) . I've been coming here for the last 35 years. When ever I come to Porbandar from the UK I always come to National when I'm craving meat but on this occasion I was very disappointed. I'll be looking for other alternatives as there are many to choose from now.
The hotel was less crowded. The tables and chairs were neat & clean. The food was average but it did the job ...(Ordered Tandoori chicken) . The staff was friendly and did the job neatly. No idea on Veg Items since I haven't ordered any food yet
Great place to have Non Vegetarian food. Very clean and comfortable ambience. The staff are very caring, conscious and polite. The food is very very tasty unlike other places in Saurashtra where the tasteless non veg is available in shanty shacks. For the first time in saurashtra I have noticed non vegetarian restaurant with respectful seating and infrastructure. Recommended Food- 1. Chicken Afgaani 2. Tandoori Chicken 3. Chicken Biryani 4. Chilli Chicken Note- Beer here available is Non-Alcoholic. So it is family friendly
'National' is one of the very few restaurants in Porbandar where we get non-veg food. We get almost all types of non-veg items here like, South Indian, North Indian, Punjabi, Chinese etc. It would be a surprising factor that many of the hotels and lodges here, where we find some non-veg dish in their menu, are also supplied food from here. Rate is comparatively normal and taste of dishes is also good or above average. There is adequate seating space inside the hotel for family, but car parking is to be done on the crowded main road.
If you love seafood than its Best place in porbandar. Always try tandoori pomfret it's awesome....
One of the best non veg restaurants in Porbandar. Their fish dishes, especially the tandoori pomfret was amazing. A must visit place in Porbandar.
