Hotel Jay Bharat

Hotel Jai Bharat in Gujarat exceeded my expectations during my first visit. Their diverse selection of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes impressed me, and the clean atmosphere added to the experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly, making it a memorable stay.

We asked for the menu twice as we sat down. The owner guy with Turbaan whose face is on the store front had a slimy sales car vibe. Unfortunately we were there bc the driver who is friend of family recommended. However not providing us with menu should have been a big red flag. Anyways we had 2 chicken items and 1 paneer item and about 12 naans and the bill came out to 2500 rupees. We had a similar stop in Agra while visiting the Taj Mahal and the total was 900 rupees and the food there was finger licking delicious. At this dhaba the food was so-so and we were all starving after visiting Daman water park resort. The naans were made well but the food the 2 chicken items in particular were one of the worst taste wise I have had in India. Plastic chairs and dishware, do not provide a menu and insist on cash payments. Scam do not visit.

We 3 of colleagues stopped at this restaurant seeing khalsa symbol to have authentic Punjabi food & jhatka nonveg. First of all they don't serve Jhatka meat. Second we ordered Tandoori chicken leg, my friend could only eat half as it was not cooked properly & was raw. On pointing out the owner says he can rebook the rest again if so. Third I ordered for Dal Tadka which was brown colour mashed up with no tadka. Palak Mutter was just ok with only taste of powder masala. My friends ordered chicken masala which was thin curry with all powder masala & chewy chicken. Before placing order I asked to confirm if Tandoori Roti is made with Atta or Maida? (As in Gujarat every restaurant makes Round Naan which is made with Maida & calls tandoori roti) the sardarji owner very proudly said to confirm it is made of Atta only, but finally round Naan made of maida was served in the name of roti. They don't serve green chutney with tandoori chicken as well. They do not have QR code for online payment. Only wants to transact in cash which is a big trouble. Any one visiting should try at own judgement but certainly being form food industry operation many establishments we will not visit this place again including our friends & family. No value for money. Average bill came to 450/-

Very poor environment, rats and lizards running around and extrobarant prices, please save your health and do not visit this restaurant. They don't take online payments to save on tax

Great place for Punjabi food lovers...since a kid I used to visit this place with my family...I love Aloo Paratha... omlette and bhurji pav...it taste amazing.

Order to Bonles chicken biryani but not inside bonles pic may be only 1 pice there have bekar money west

Must try butter garlic nan with dal fry and jeera rice.
