Customer Reviews & Testimonials
Cheesy garlic rice, pizza with chilli garlic oil and definitely hummus and pita bread is to die for. Authentic fine taste. Not a fan of ambience due to dull lightning but their food is worth every penny. The staff is good. Quick service. Hygienic place. Located in a good area. Open all day. Run with your family and friends to try their garlic rice and pizza. If you are a fan of Lebanese cuisine then hummus is no doubt the best in the locality. Priced fair.
Firstly, we had to wait a good 30 minutes b4 getting our table, and despite showing that the restro was not too busy on Google maps, we arrived to find it packed. Having grown up eating traditional falafel in UAE, I know that it's sort of bland, and along with pita and hummus, it tastes amazing. We got to know about this place and had to try it out. Let's get started. We had a hummus platter that had falafel, 4 pita breads, hummus, garlic lebneh, Tahini, and a red chili paste sauce. We had a normal pita and a garlic stuffed one, which were both good, but they weren't soft like the authentic. The hummus was nice and the garlic lebneh too. The falafel, which is normally bland, had a ginger garlic flavor along with a spice that suits Indian taste palettes. But it wasn't close to the authentic, but it wasn't all bad. We also had a manakish with cheese and za'atar with was also nice since i really like za'atar. Along the food, we had a coffee spritzer and a Cranberry fizz, which were both good choices. Most of the drinks and desserts weren't available, though on a Thursday. All over a nice experience with nice staff. The vibe of the restaurant is nice, too. A must try if you like Lebanese and Mediterranean cuisine. A thumbs up from me
*A Hidden Gem: Humas House, Surat* I stumbled upon Humas House in Surat, and I'm so glad I did! This quaint, unassuming restaurant serves some of the most delicious and authentic Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine I've ever had. The ambiance is cozy and intimate, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The service is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure you have a great dining experience. But the real star of the show is the food. From the tender, flavorful shawarma to the creamy, rich hummus, every dish is a masterclass in flavor and texture. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. Overall, I highly recommend Humas House to anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience in Surat. It's a hidden gem that's sure to become a favorite!
The overall experience was average. hummus is no flavour, like fikaa.. falafel was a standout with its great flavour.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Humus House located at Parle Point in Surat, and it was a delightful experience. The food was outstanding, with a variety of flavorful dishes that truly stood out. Each item on the menu was crafted with care, offering a perfect blend of taste and quality. The ambiance of the restaurant is another highlight. The decor is stylish and inviting, creating a comfortable and enjoyable dining atmosphere. Whether you're there for a casual meal or a special occasion, The Humus House sets the right mood with its elegant interiors and warm lighting. However, I did find parking to be a bit challenging. The location is popular and finding a convenient spot can be tricky at times. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall experience at The Humus House was wonderful, and I highly recommend it for its excellent food and charming ambiance.
Awesome taste & variety to try in Lebanese food. However, didn't liked charging for water and not giving option for normal drinking water.
I'd heard a lot about Hummus House, so I finally decided to give it a try. The falafel was tasty, but the portion felt a bit small--just two halves with some hummus and a basic salad (missed the cherry tomatoes!). It wasn't bad, but not as memorable as I expected. Surprisingly, the Garlic Rice stood out more for me--perfectly cooked and that garlic sauce was spot on. Fries were crisp too, no complaints there. Service was quick, though we had to wait a bit for a table, which I guess shows how popular it is. Overall, it was a decent experience. I'd rate it 7.5/10--not mind-blowing, but worth a visit.
Great food, Mini meal is the right choice if you are new to this, don't try their Baklava ever! The taste and pricing is really good, i wish they would stop ruining Baklawa like this
