Banana leaf restaurant is a must visit place, i had lunch there it had a peaceful atmosphere with good spacious area for dine in. I had chicken curry + parotha the chicken curry was mild and especially tasty for people from south. But although other can also enjoy the new taste and flavour of Kerala. Me and one of my friend visited this place while roaming around vadodara in the search of trying something unique and new. Anyway we both are fond of south indian food. Banana leaf restaurant is really a great option if you want to try real authentic taste of Kerala type food. They prepare and serve it in the same way. They have both veg and non-veg menu. We ordered veg dishes. One was masala dosa and idiyappam and a typical keraliam curry type dish was it. And trust me the taste of all the dishes was really great.

The kerala meal i had there was really authentic. This is the best kerala restaurant in vadodara as far as i know. I also liked the other things we ordered like kadla curry and iddiyapam. The fish i had was not as much as i expected but the chicken curry was excellent.

Authentic Kerala food destination, prompt service with smile, good sitting arrangement, AC seemed not working properly however food compensated it. Kerala meals was excellent and also in quantity. Ghee roast chicken, Kerala porotta, prawns fry, fish fry masala dosa were too good.

This place serves Kerala food . They serve both veg and non veg. After reading so many positive reviews visited this restaurant. This place is located near jalaram nagar , behind mother school. They serve authentic Kerala food . But as a gujarati I didn't like both veg and non veg dish ,It's my personal opinion. Because lots of South Indian people were enjoying their food here , so I must say it may authentic but didn't match my taste bud , If someone want to try authentic Kerala food visit once. Chicken quality was not good . I suggest them to change supplier. Because it was too hard , chewy and tasteless. Greavy of chicken masala was tangy. Fry chicken was just like chicken pakoda and it was with bone not boneless. paratha was chewy . Ambience and Vibe is too good . It's different than other restaurants. Staff and host were very humble . They treat customer/guest very well. So...to all my South Indian friends visit here it's your place ... enjoy...

If u want to change ur taste buds & u are a South Indian food lover then must visit to the place...They serve authentic Keralian food... Very easy to reach...the restaurant is located at the end of the Atal Flyover...Near Tube Company Simple restaurant...Has a South Indian touch...Clean...Service was good...Staffs were polite & helpful... We ordered Non-Veg. Thali & Kuttu Paratha - Mixture of chicken & paratha was just awesomeeee...extremely tasty...Non-veg.thali was also good...Special mention - Rice, paratha, beet fry, chicken curry, sambar... We went on Friday but they serve the food on banana leaves every Sunday...So we missed it...Eating on banana leaves is very beneficial... Reasonable price...worth it...Highly recommended...Will definitely visit again

Such a great place for Kerala food! Everything we tried was so flavorful and felt just like a homemade meal. The staff was really warm and welcoming, and the whole place had a nice, comfy vibe. Definitely a spot I'd visit again!"
