Shetty's kitchen South indian Restaurant

I went to have lunch, before closing time. And I ordered maisur uttapam. They served me with very poor cooking uttapam. When I take the 1st bite of uttapam, the potatoes are not properly steamed.. 1st I just ignore... But after that I was taking 3-4 bits of it, all the potatoes were not steamed properly. So, I told the waiter about it, then she said that the seif goan.. so asking her to call the manager then she said he is also goan... So, I have no option to raise my complaint to anyone.. after that the waiter gave me a barcode for payment, for this kind of food.. And I was paid too... So, the point is that, this kind of service and food quality is served by them to customers. And zero level of customer satisfaction. My point is that if they can't provide the proper food at that time, they simply deny to customers but not done just like that. Very poor experience.

Good authentic south indian food served here. Good taste, value for money and quick service. If you are visiting on weekends, i suggest call and try to Book the table in advance. Must try their 3 feet dhosa.

Small piece of Banana leaf with black scars in the plate - why? If you don't have banana leaf just don't put it - No formalities pls. Taste is good but table order service planning needs to be educated to the staff !!!

Food was really good, but a kind of bit sweet Sambhar for my taste considering the authentic South Indian taste. Good on stomach too. No heaviness or any upset. (important point when. You are eating outside).

Shetty's Kitchen is the new owner of the earlier popular Aramana Restaurant. We had been a regular visitor to Aramana Restaurant. This review is for Shetty's Kitchen. What we ordered: we had ordered banana leaf fixed meal. A sada dosa and fresh lime soda. Pros: the food is presented well in Banana leaf which gives a nice authentic feeling. The dosa and buttermilk were nice. Cons: All items in the fixed plate were cold. Even if they do not prepare fresh food, at least they should microwave the food before serving. The taste of Rasam and sabjee were not authentic and had an atypical smell that I didn't like. The rice provided was very less (one small bowl.. the same one in which they served rasam). It hardly had 2-3 tablespoon quantity. It was a fixed menu and the waiter confirmed that it is all that we get in the thali. Hence if you are there to have rice, avoid having the meal. The freshlime soda was too sour and we had to mix water to have it. Shetty's Kitchen now has only South Indian menu.. The cost of all items have increased to almost double to what used to be in earlier Aramana Restaurant. I wouldnt mind paying only if I get a value for the money. There are no significant change in food with deteriorating service. Overall, this is a one time visit restaurant.

Place is quite good and rates are very reasonable, good for breakfast, lots of variety of food in the menu, service is prompt. Typical south Indian taste in food. You will get the feeling that you are sitting in South India as ambience of the restaurant is such. One of the better places for south Indian food.
