Shree Kathiyawadi Khadki

On my 21st birthday I've think that I want to create Good memories and need to go in good atmosphere so I found this Hotel which is famous and it's name is Shree Kathiyawadi Khadki which is located in Raopura and My birthday dinner with my family is much memorable than I think and food is very delicious and it gives authentic taste from kathiyawad.

Parking NOT available due to small street. Interior is like old wooden doors and old brass cutlery on the wall for decoration. Lift is available to reach 2nd floor. Some people may find it congested due to small spaces and overcrowding. Waiting is there even on weekdays. Hygiene is good. Staff is polite. Food is having less oil compared to other restaurants.

Neat and clean place. Food is awesome, equally good is the sweets. Mango lassi, rasagulla, rabri all were good. Thali is available only from 11am to 3:30pm. Rates are also reasonable.

Authentic local Kathiyawadi cuisine at its best. We tried the thali and were delighted with mouth watering food. This place is usually crowded and except for the wait time to get a seat, however they are pretty organised. Service was quick and courteous. Will definitely recommend this eatery. Parking is a bit of a challenge on the narrow roads.

Kathiyawadi Khadki has been a beloved part of Vadodara's culinary landscape for decades, and my recent visit with my father reminded me why it holds such a special place in my heart. After 10 years, I had the pleasure of dining at their newly renovated space, and it felt like coming home to authentic, wholesome Gujarati flavors. We ordered two thalis (150 each, with unlimited refills), which were a perfect blend of traditional and comforting dishes. From the flavorful palak methi sabzi and kala chana nu shaak to the hearty bataka nu shaak (gravy), every dish was cooked to perfection. The freshly made rotlis, crispy papad, refreshing kachumber, soft khaman, tangy chutney, and the classic dal and rice completed the meal beautifully. We also couldn't resist adding sweets to our order: a rich ghee no laddoo (40) and indulgent gajar no halwa (60). Though sweets are not part of the thali and come in limited portions, they are absolutely worth it! The hospitality was warm and welcoming, just as I remembered, and the renovated space adds a fresh charm while maintaining its authentic vibe. If you're looking for an authentic Gujarati dining experience with exceptional value, Kathiyawadi Khadki is a must-visit. I've dined here countless times over the years, and this visit reaffirmed why it's a timeless treasure. Highly recommend!

A very good place to have authentic gujarati dishes, kathiyawadi cuisine. The staff is friendly. There will be waiting time in rush hours. Cash/UPI accepted.

The place serves authentic Gujarati Food. The food was super delicious. Though being a hardcore non veg guy, this place's veg food tasted a lot good. Service was super great. Waiter patiently explained each dish as I was not familiar with many of the names being from Kerala. The price is also very economical. A must visit place in Vadodara. Love from Kerala.
