I visited Hotel Plaza for lunch last Sunday and had a decent experience overall. The ambience of the restaurant is quite welcoming. The seating is divided into two sections -- an AC and a non-AC area -- which might have different pricing, though I didn't confirm. The place was clean and had a comfortable vibe, making it suitable for both family outings and casual meals. We decided to try a few recommended dishes. The chef's special paneer and tawa roti turned out to be flavorful and well-cooked. The paneer was soft and fresh, with a mildly spicy gravy that paired well with the hot rotis. We also ordered the matka biryani, which was served in a traditional earthen pot. It had a nice aroma and tasted good, with well-cooked rice and a balanced blend of spices. The service was fairly good. The staff was polite and attentive, though the food took a little time to arrive. However, everything was served hot and presented nicely. While the food and ambience were good, nothing particularly stood out as extraordinary. The menu seemed fairly standard for a mid-range restaurant, and while we enjoyed the meal, it didn't leave a lasting impression that would push the rating higher. Overall, Hotel Plaza is a decent place for a casual lunch or dinner. The food is tasty, the service is satisfactory, and the environment is comfortable. A good option if you're in the area and craving North Indian cuisine, but not necessarily a destination spot.
It was a great experience for dine in and stay in for a long weekend. Customer service was impeccable and Food hygiene is excellent. Prime location on the way to statue of Unity. Will be there next time .
