Customer Reviews & Testimonials

Loved the food and authentic tibetan experience, especially the elderly tibetan gentleman who runs the establishment. Outstanding authentic food at reasonable prices. You'll be transported to Tibet during your dining experience. Enjoyed my conversation with the owner who basically explained the Tibetan food cuisine/culture, especially the way to consume butter tea and barley porridge! The momos were incredible, so was the thenthuk. The chocolate momos were great and unlike anything I've ever had. Service can be slow so you need to be prepared to enjoy the Tibetan culture showcased in the eatery. Music, art, etc. They even arrange for a taxi in case you need a ride back to your car park or hotel. The owner has a pet tortoise too! Loved the experience and highly recommend it to anyone who cares about experiencing tibetan food culture.

Beautiful and home like, hosts were warm and caring. Food was cooked on order, with fresh ingredients. Everything tasted delicious and different than the other dishes. We went on our first day of stay but returned back for the rest of three days we were there. Their closing time was 9.30 pm but we noticed that hosts were respectful to customers who came even after 9.30.

This place is hands down the best Tibetan food experience in the area and I say experience because everything from the place itself, the atmosphere curated, decor, music and to the gorgeous Tibetan family that run it adds to the overall dining experience and food enjoyment. Whatever you do don't miss out on the fried Aloo momos !! We ate here the most and tried almost everything on the menu so be adventurous, you can't pick the wrong thing breakfast is great too and they have tables outside on the balcony overlooking the landscape. The owner Mr. Thupten is an amazing soul and always up for a good story and chat so definitely say hello to him. Can't wait to be back! I can't express how much this pace served as the highlight of our trip. Thank you team!

Perfect spot to have brunch or lunch with a view. Food is fantastic and they seem to conduct classes which i am frankly inclined to take up, next time. Had Tibetan thali and mutton momos in sauce, both were mouth watering. Even the green salad that came was tasty. Must visit and dine with the view of a king !!

Food was amazing. Everything was perfect, the food, the ambience, staff and everything else. We had a great time, it was not just eating but dining at finest. And the cherry on top is this desert "hellow to the queen"!! No words!! Just amazing!!

We spent 2 weeks in Dharamshala and McLeodGanj and we went here almost every day!! The first day we arrived we met Thupten, one of the owners. The place was undergoing some renovation work but he kindly showed us around. After that, once it reopened, we never left! Going there felt like being at home. The vibe was so cosy and welcoming. Thupten, lhamo and Ngawang were like our adopted family. Always greeting you with a smile, always taking their time to talk to you and make you feel comfortable Honestly, it is by far the best food in the area, the chow mein, thentuk and thukpa are all so so rich with flavour! And it's not just Tibetan food, the Indian food was also spectacular especially the mutton curry. Oh and they have a special aloo momos they do, definitely try it... It's something different, almost like a has brown. Unreal. And they do another speciality called Jhol Momo, it's like momos placed on this really delicious creamy sauce... It's their own unique dish and it's soooooo good. The place is super clean, has beautiful decor and amazing views of the nature. Absolute hidden gem in the area. We can't wait to be back and visit our new Tibetan family next time thanks so much for everything

A quaint, little cafe and diner run by the sweetest uncle and aunty. The food was delish and the main attraction is the warm atmosphere. Dolkar Aunty maintains a beautiful indoor garden and she is so friendly - a true home away from home.

This cozy Himalayan restaurant, run by a sweet uncle and aunty, feels just like home. The warm vibe and their caring hospitality make the experience truly special. The food is absolutely delicious and freshly prepared, though it might take 15-20 minutes since everything is made from scratch. The pricing is very affordable, and I highly recommend trying the pork/chicken/mutton fry, jhol momos, noodles and rice, or Thentuk. Their Nepali thali is also a must-try, and don't miss their dessert with banana and ice cream--it's delightful! This is a must-visit spot. Be sure to say hi to uncle and aunty when you go--they're the heart of the place!
