Had tea and pakoda there for a genuine price and amazing taste.
Have natural beauty..... mountain river sight seeing and a lot more to do. All time accessable through buses or private transportations.....roads are narrow which gives thrilling environment and it is much more enjoyable. Best for camping and hiking easy trails and good environment.

It's beautiful place on the National Highway to Chamba wherefrom one can have bird's eye view of chamera lake.Kandu, a small halt near a natural water source if famous for Corn, cucumber salad, hot tea and Indian snacks like Pakoras
Natural spring water of this place is better than any mineral water. Pakoras and tea of this place have a unique taste. This place is also famous for local fruits, vegetables, rajmah and bhutta. Most of the sales persons are well literate and friendly.
Its a good place for vistor if you are from outside of himanchal big mountains and astonishing river you can visit this place during summer and there is also snowfall during winters.
Stop over point on Chamba Dalhousie road the place is famous for its pakora and tea shops offering a break to the jaded traveller!! Try pakoras and tea at Kishen Sharma's shop as the man will go out of the way to serve you crispy pakoras within his limited means!!
Visited Bathri and Devidehra kasba today. On return journey to CHAMBA halted at Kandu nala for some while. Taken cup of tea with pakoda there. Kandu is very useful place having cold spring water source. One should stop for some time there on journey up and down.
