Great location. The atmosphere is top notch. The pizza was awesome. They have 4 options of brewed beer.
I was trying to find a place to eat in shimla and it was super hard but then I found this restaurant. Of course it was worth it the pasta was soft and flavorful the fries felt like you were in potato land (crispy too). The Noodles were right and yummy to eat. Lastly the honey chili chicken and Nachos was on top it was. Flavorful and delicious. The coffee and chai was also tasty. The only problem about the food is the lack of effort put into the pizza it was not flavorful and kinda lacks with pizza around India. The service was also super fast and the live music made the restaurant even better.
Cafe Shimla Times on Mall Road is a must-visit for its breathtaking views of the Shimla skyline. The glass roof with hanging bulbs, combined with live music, creates a magical ambiance, especially at night. The open, airy space adds to the charm, making it a place where you don't just sit at a table--you immerse yourself in the vibe. Adding to the vintage charm, a bright yellow Padmini-like car parked right outside the cafe enhances its aesthetic, giving it a classic retro vibe that blends perfectly with the old-world charm of Shimla. It's a popular spot for photos and adds to the quirky, nostalgic feel of the place. The food was great, the service was excellent, and the entire atmosphere felt free-flowing and relaxed. Whether enjoying a meal or just sipping on a warm drink while taking in the views, this cafe truly encapsulates the essence of Shimla's charm and energy.
Having food under this breathtaking view? This was it! We were recommended by one of the locals and it was worth it. Just like any cafe price will be on the higher side. We tried Grilled Chicken Wooden fire pizza and it was tastyyyyy as hell. Nothing short of excellence!
Had an awesome time. Khachi was proactive and served us with a broad smile which made our evening. Chicken Lovers pizza and kalhua hot chocolate were amazing
Just the hype, nothing more. Pros: * Great ambience * Ikra The Band's performance * Scenic view Cons: * Food quality: 1/5 * Food taste: 1/5 * Poor serving sense - everything (clear soup, garlic bread, pizza, chicken shawarma) was served at once in cold weather. Bill was - 2200 for this shitty food
