The Divine Hima Hotel | Restaurant & Bar

Blew me away! The ambience was absolutely stunning - easily one of the best I've ever experienced. And the food? Seriously delicious! Every bite was a treat. If you're looking for incredible vibes and fantastic food, this place is a must-visit. Highly, highly recommend!

We took a group of six people on a Himalayan tour that included six hotels, and Divine Hima was unquestionably the favorite for everyone. It was also our first stop and we stayed for four nights, so it was the perfect starting point especially for the group members visiting India for the first time.||Given the busy traditional village life surrounding the hotel, it is a wonderful surprise to be transported to a different world from the moment you step over the entrance threshold. The design and atmosphere are unexpected; uniquely enchanting and rich with remnants of Himalayan memorabilia and memories collected over the years by the artist/photographer/poet owner, Sanjay. ||Sanjay himself is a walking vibe of tranquility and welcome. He and his dear family and staff are engaging and curious without crossing the line into over-familiarity or interference. We were very well taken care of by everyone not just logistically but in spirit as well.||The rooms were spacious and well appointed; we had five rooms, all with balconies, and all were unique and lovely. ||The food was excellent; the dosas, vegetarian spring rolls, tomato soup and kinnow juice were group faves but we enjoyed every dish we tried from the extensive (and again, enchanting) menu.||Lastly, the location was fantastic. The packed little village of Sidhpur is a colorful blend of cultures and faiths -- Buddhist, Tibetan, Indian, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, and Christian -- and classically chaotic with traffic, vendors, and visitors to Norbulingka Institute and various nearby temples. But the Divine Hima is tucked magically, peacefully, into the middle of all of it. It is also close enough to Dharamsala and major throughways to other Himalayan hotspots to be a perfect base for day trips to explore the area and return to a nice cocktail or lemon soda on the rooftop terrace to gaze head-on at the beautiful mountains.

Whether you're a seasoned art enthusiast or just appreciate creativity, the rotating exhibits provide a feast for the eyes. The space itself is stylish and inviting, with a great ambiance that enhances the experience. **The Pizza:** Now, let's talk about the food--absolutely delicious! The pizza was cooked to perfection, with a crispy crust, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. The menu offers a fantastic variety, from classic Margherita to bold, inventive combinations. I highly recommend trying the [specific pizza name if you have one in mind]. **The Service:** The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about both the art and the menu. They made great recommendations and ensured we had a wonderful time. **Highly recommend!**

Had an amazing experience here! The food was delicious - especially the noodles, which were absolutely spot on. The staff were friendly, courteous, and genuinely went out of their way to ensure we had no complaints. But what stood out the most for me was the music. Loved the vibe--especially the Pink Floyd tracks.

Fantastic Experience All Around The ambiance is warm and elegant, the staff is attentive and friendly, and the food is simply outstanding. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented -- especially the Fish sizzler. A perfect spot for a special night out. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved The Divine Hima and village of Sidphur. Sanjay and his staff were lovely, the food delicious and freshly made. Delve right in when you get served! With a party of six, the wait for the last person to get served was long, but always worth the wait! I so enjoyed meeting Sanjay's family! They made it a memorable experience that will be in my heart forever.

Nestled in the peaceful vibes of Dharamshala, Divine Hima is a visual delight. The ambiance is truly beautiful--calming, artsy, and perfect for unwinding. While the food overall is average, one standout dish makes the visit worthwhile: the Chicken Thukpa. Warm, hearty, and full of flavor--definitely a must-try. Ideal spot if you're looking to soak in the aesthetic and chill, with a touch of Himalayan comfort.

Just visited the cafe and were pleasantly surprised with everything here. The indoor atmosphere is just incredible, tastefully done and I'm sure the owners are people with great taste. Palak gossht and jeera rice was very tasty. Hope to come back and stay here sometime.
